ND if he slam the kid head first he would be charged for attempted murder. That could have killed that kid.

Any decent lawyer would get that thrown out pretty quickly.
Self Defense, Temp insanity, Fear for his life etc. etc...

I'll tell you one thing, this definitely wouldn't go down as self-defense.

And that's really my biggest problem with this thing. Look, I love the video. It's painful, yada-yada. But wouldn't it be funnier/better if it was the other way around? This is exactly why I was referring to the Peter Parker thing. The smaller, wimpier kid taking on the bigger guy to show not to mess around with him was more so in a physical sense than a mental sense. This kid knows Casey is three times his size, but he bullies him because he is mentally weak. Turns out the kid decides to snap and uses his known physical strength on the boy.

So again, if we saw a little kid body slam a big boy, things would definitely be different in my point of view. This would be a kid who needs to show he can't be messed around with. This big guy just bottles up all of his emotions, restraining his known force from unleashing. Again, the video was nice for a little bit of revenge, but let's just hope the kid is responsible with this power. He is a known physical force, and he might just become the new bully on campus if he wants to, picking on those who used to pick on him.

That's what my other post meant earlier, and that's also why something like this wouldn't ever be called "self-defense," while it could be so the other way around if Casey was the bully and the other kid was the victim.

Size has zero to do with self defense. If someone half my size was attacking me and I killed them..it's self defense, period.

This isn't Spiderman we're talking about, it was what seemed like a quiet timid overweight kid who finally snapped when he was tired of being attacked.

Yeah I have to agree on size not mattering in this case(the one and only case sorry fellas). Casey is leaned up against a wall and hit multipletimes. After he picks up the attacker and drops him. But the real key to this whole situation is he walks away and doesn't attack after he drops him. Add all that up with the fact that its on video. Through it being a known fact he was bullied.

Find me a jury or judge thats going to charge him with anything if that little prick did get his head busted open.

I guarantee that if the case went to jury, there would always be atleast 1 person who would refuse to find him guilty.

He was bullied in the past, he was standing there minding his own business, he was assaulted, he incapacitated the attacker with 1 blow/action, then walked away.

You could try him 1 million times and I doubt you would ever get unamious jury finding him guilty of anything.

It must be different around here. Because once he had the kid on the ground he could have run away. At least that is how they look at it this here. Also was the big kid bullying that little kid. Because it seem like the little kid brought a bigger kid that the heavy kid was afraid of. I can see that happening too. I had this kid picking on me and my older brother came to school one day and scared the kid really bad. Then my brother made me hit the kid even though I didn't want too. That was the last time I got picked on by anyone.

He could have laid him out with one shot only for the kid to fall back and crack his head on the ground. Which I know for a fact you can be charged for. So I do understand your point on the self defense. My point was seeing as they are in middle school I don't feel anything more will come of this. Unless of course the kid who was dropped files a lawsuit. We know how people love to do that these days.

I agree. I am just saying if he killed that kid and he could have if he landed on his neck. But like I said before I am basing this of my students crimes. I had a young kid threaten their teacher and had a plan how to kill her and he was charged with attempted murder, but that must have got dropped because he was only with me for a couple days.

LOL I had a fight in middle school and the guy who I fought got his head busted

I only punched him twice, he was bald, but I dont remember making him bleed.

Just saw blood dripping and after leaving the office the security officer asking me man how did you bust his head like that

We were on the basketball court a couple months later playing again...and yep for no reason at all I was in art class drawing a poster of MJ, he walked by, scribbled on it, I asked him why did he do that and he just charged me like a half back. Thats how it all started, I had to defend myself, it was over.

We both got a suspension im sure, but cannot remember. Other than that, a lawsuit was the last thing anyone wouldve thought of. Society has gone insane now and as smart as people are sensitivity has gone to an all time high for the worst

True has nothing to do with what I am saying. If that kid hit him hard enough to knock the big boy to the ground and hit his head on the concrete he would be charged too. Like I said before I am basing this off some of my prior students. I had this one kid that got in a fight and put that kid in ICU. In fact every time this kid got in a fight they ended up injured. He is one kid that I feared. He was 16 but as strong as an ox.
