Using Adidas (or Nike, Under Armour, etc.) is a copout. The AD has final signoff on any alternate helmets/jerseys that are worn. Nike went to USC with a black alternate jersey a couple years ago and USC told them to piss off.
If Michigan wears a ****ing yellow helmet, it's because the Pizza Man gave it the green light.Comment

That's also false, at least in Michigan's case. The Pizza Man has specifically asked Adidas to come up with a new jersey every year.
And regardless, who cares? The person that green lights a ****ty product is infinitely worse than the person who comes up with the concept of it.Comment

Well I was making a bit of a funny. I don't think it's ALL the suppliers' faults when it comes to these things. Sometimes we've seen cases where the coaching staffs of some schools or the players themselves making the egregious uniform choices.
I do see your point though for instance, I can't see Pat Haden allowing something completely ridiculous being worn by USC under his watch.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Going back to the FSU thing. I hated how the uniforms looked when zoomed out. Numbers and Helmet were just too shiny or something. May have been slightly better with gold pants.
Hopefully the Garnet/Gold combo looks better in Saturday as I really like how those looked when launchedSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
