        I wasn't aware of this until I saw further pictures on MSN but apparently there's controversy about the red in the uniform as it's supposed to be blood. Obviously we can't exactly comment on this but i'm sure you can see where the controversy lies.

        I think it's an interesting and valid bit of symbolism as soldiers do spill their blood for freedom. So while i'm not the biggest fan of flag dominated uniform design this one gets a big thumbs up from me.

            While I don't hate the uniform, the designed by Dexter blood spatter is a little much.

                    Idk what the controversy is, but technically any use of the flag on any uniform, etc is desecration of the flag, and nobody says anything about that. Personally I don't care, but there's a double standard.

                        Well, Uni Watch is extremely outspoken about it. He's been on the flag desecration front for several years. Almost annoyingly so.

                                It's not an actual flag, it's a representation of the flag, so it's not desecration of the flag.

                                This is what my uncle and cousin say about the subject. They are both officers in the Army. I don't know if that is 100% or not but take it FWIW.
