I can understand that these are both major tragedies, but I personally think it's slightly hyperbolic to consider 9/11 the largest tragedy. Only my personal opinion, though, not trying to dwarf the impact of it.
No, I get you. I just disagree that it's hyperbolic. I won't get into it any further though, as I don't disagree with you outside of that and this isn't the forum for such discussion anyway.

          Fair enough, agree to disagree.

This is amazing. People are out in the streets of major cities and it's almost 2:00 on a Monday morning. The news stations right now are playing like the end of Jedi. I have really no idea what to compare this to for my generation as I've never seen anything quite like this but the ending to Return of The Jedi is what keeps coming to mind.

edit: The guy who was liveblogging the raid is going to go down as a Twitter saint at some point. That's pretty crazy.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Very interesting read...I thought we said no civilian casualties? In his tweets he said a family died when the helo went down. I wonder if that is accurate.

What a freakin night. I can't wind down at all. This makes me so proud to an American.

Its not really vindication, but its close.

If anyone deserved to announce it to the live crowd it was John Cena.
