If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Bin Laden is dead!
I heard they had 2 helicopters but blew one of them up, "staged it as a plane crash" so that the enemy wouldn't get any intel.Comment

Re: Bin Laden is dead!
While I tend to agree with your overall point about hyperbole, I think what separates the two is that 9/11 was an unprovoked (unless you count "being American" as provocation) attack directed at not only government/military, but civilians as well. I'm certainly not saying Pearl Harbor was "provoked" but it was aimed at more than simply just attacking America.
And while, yes, it did drag us into the Pacific, America's involvement was something that was wanted for some time before that. Plus, if we are counting resulting action, we all know what 9/11 drug us into and the death toll for Americans has sadly climbed and climbed there as well.
I guess my point is, it serves nothing to try to rank the two and I don't think it's too far out there for someone to feel that 9/11 is the worst. Both were MAJOR American tragedies, and I don't think it's unreasonable for people to view this as the most significant tragedy in America, especially when you consider that it's impact is still felt today.
Anyway, certainly good news tonight. While it's actual impact on terrorism may be little, just the symbolism alone is a victory here.
I can understand that these are both major tragedies, but I personally think it's slightly hyperbolic to consider 9/11 the largest tragedy. Only my personal opinion, though, not trying to dwarf the impact of it.Comment
