One thing I will say about the college kids "celebrating" this event. I don't understand because well they were babies when 9/11 happened. Guess it's the cool thing to do.

What's your point? I'm in college, and I remember every single detail of 9/11, and the rage I felt.

I'm not exactly celebrating but I was no baby. I remember that day like it was yesterday and saw how the kids in my classroom were affected fearing for the safety of their moms and dads who had to work that morning. I thank God looking back that my mother had a day off that day and didnt have to go into manhattan that morning. That event affected everybody. Family was lost and changed forever.

We are celebrating because this is an incredible moment in our lives, for our nation. The majority of our lives, the military has been trying to take down this guy, and tonight it finally happened. I know it can never go back to how it was before 9/11, but this is a step in the direction. I was 8 on 9/11, and im 18 now, so this is a great moment for me, and all of the college people in the U.S.

We weren't babies. Maybe we didn't fully understand the gravity of the situation, but that was a huge day in our lives just like it was for some people that were older.

Glad the policies that have been in place for the last 8+ years have finally paid off. The world and the US have a great victory today (or whatever day it happened, still seeing some reports he was killed a week ago) as a man whose sole existence was to bring destruction and fear and death has been eliminated.

I understand and I'm sorry if you feel I downplayed your feeling toward this. I should have made myself clearer.

MOST of the college kids are just there because its the "cool" thing to do.

I just saw a report. Said his body was buried out at sea?

                        Really?

That way there's no grave associated with him that could be used as sort of a makeshift memorial by his followers and now no country is known as the final resting place of Osama Bin Laden.

                          It actually makes sense, imo.

Reporters apparently were let in to view the body so this is just a move to prevent some gravesite becoming a shrine. Guess they feel like even if they do an unmarked grave, somehow it'll be found because of who he is.

Yeah, they did the same thing with the Nazi war criminals after they were executed.

I have no problem with it. Let the sharks have his ***.

Just when I first seen it roll across the screen I was kinda surprised they they didn't give the body back but, yes it makes sense.

IMO they could have burned him and at least sent his ashes back but, I don't have any feelings toward his family or associates about getting his body back.
