I have a friend that reguarly takes trips by himself to different places because he can never find anyone else to go with him....he asked me to go to Pigeon Forge, TN with him in a couple weeks,but i just started a 2nd job and cant take time off just yet. He says he really needs to get away even though he hates going by himself.....he has done this to other locations too. I thought about doing the same thing he does. I have places I want to go that he nor any of my other friends want to go and some of my other friends are so flaky that even if they wanted to go, they would make plans and cancel at the last minute (they do that for in town gatherings, so i cant imagine a vacay being any different lol)....like I really have this obsession with going to Denver and Seattle, but I can't find someone to go

I would, and am hoping to get one good vacation alone in before the end of the year.

I would do it. I've always been more of a "loner" type, though, so I tend to do a lot of things on my own terms and have no problem just going out and doing things by myself.

It does depend on where I'm going, certain places would just be lame without other people, for example, Disney World.

When I was 25 I went to Melbourne, Australia for two weeks by myself. No one to really share the experience with the but I had a blast.

Hell yes. I have gone on a ski trip and a surf trip by myself, and had a great time.

I would, who gives a ****? You can have a good time by yourself, and I would DEF go alone over going with someone that I didnt really want to go with, just to have them there.

Only if I had a gameplan to it.

I wouldn't just go somewhere warm to relax by the beach for a week by myself, for example.

But, I would love to maybe take a week, go east, and hit a different baseball stadium every day or something like that.

I go on baseball road trips by myself all the time. I can enjoy the game by myself and see new places.

I wouldnt leave the country alone unless it were to Canada. even then probably not.

I've had to, a couple of times, but that was for work not for vacation.
