I was with a friend at the mall and we had stopped into the Adidas store to look at shoes as I was going to get something if I saw anything I liked. Looked around, didn't see much, and as we were headed towards the front of the door, I saw the champions league ball on a stand and picked it up and started telling my friend about it, as I was doing this, the girl working there behind the counter started talking to me about it.
She told me she played with the ball before with a friend, so I walked over and asked some more soccer related stuff, how long she played, positions, etc. I joked around with her a bit as well. Told her I coach 8 and 9 year olds in soccer.
I spent probably about 10 mins talking to her in there. I asked how old she was, she's 22, I'm 25. When I looked at the front entrance my friend was gone so I told her I had to leave and I shook her hand, and she said, "I'm in here all the time, so stop in and chat with me."
What exactly is that implying? Typically, store employees will talk with you and just say, "Have a nice day/night". Not to come back and chat with them. And there's plenty of other people she can chat with in the mall, why me?
I'm just the average schmoe in terms of looks. I can hold a conversation very well and I know how to speak with people. She is above way average in terms of looks, a girl who I would never think of approaching.
I had asked a friend of mine and she said, "She implies that she likes you and wants you to come back and ask her out."
My own personal feeling about it is, she said that to see if I am interested by coming back.
