Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
"No problem" can signify that "maybe what you asked me was going to be a problem for me, but then after I saw what it entailed or how little effort it really was, it wasn't the problem I thought it was going to be. The possible annoyance wasn't that after all".Comment

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
Why do you guys think so much about these kinds of things? If someone says "no problem" to me, I don't think "Wait, so it was a problem that I asked?" and I also don't think "You don't need to thank me, it was no problem", I just accept it as a standard response to me saying "Thank you" and I go about my day.

Minus 10 points if you thought it was going to be "No further analysis needed."Last edited by daflyboys; 11-13-2011, 01:16 AM.Comment

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
"stay classy"
"vastly over/underated"
and this one is net specific, but the generic defensive response posters use about "reading comprehension" is annoyingComment

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
I absolutely hate that phrase as well. It is basically the automatic reply when someone can't handle someone else's trash talk and has no comeback other than to bring up class in lieu of having an original thought and/or having something intelligent to say. This is a sports and gaming forum for Pete's sake. Nobody is sitting on here drinking champagne and eating caviar while posting so there is no need to bring up class unless you are just a tool.Last edited by 55; 01-02-2012, 02:48 PM.Comment
