Put me down for "it is what it is" (see the movie St. Vincent for actual definition).

During golf matches, the player is on a par 4, 430 yards. He drives. And some moron yells, "GET IN THE HOLE!". Let's just ban that entirely, everywhere.

        "That awkward moment"

See it everywhere anymore and it aggravates me.

For some reason, "with the quickness" drives me nuts.

Edit: And, of course, 5 minutes after posting this, my boss calls me and says "I need this document with the quickness."

I just saw one yesterday I never knew that apparently is a made up 21st C. word that for some reason warrants validity (like "twerk") that I instantly now despise:

                        "mansplain"

(must have been made up by a woman... I guess to get even with "piss and moan")

When used in the right context it is largely accurate.

Ayup. It is a Vermont thing apparently, it drives me nuts. Instead of just saying yes or yep they say ayup. Makes no sense to me what so ever. And yes, in text messages they literally spell it ayup.

Stop. It's a 21st Century made up word. It's just a combination of "man" and "explain". We already had a word for this. It's called "condescending". But, apparently somebody (no doubt a special interest group) needed to make this a sexist thing now. There aren't women who talk down to men? Please. And there's supposedly a war on women.

Since we can make up new words and get them entered into some fake dictionaries, how about "vagaint". It's for when a woman complains about something that only a woman would complain about.
