Most annoying words, terms, phrases
Dab is a dance move made famous by the hip hop group Migos and now Cam Newton celebrates his TDs by doing it. It is also a term for smoking an oil with high content of THC but I'm not sure if the name of the dance stemmed from thatLast edited by jack1535; 12-02-2015, 07:08 PM.Buffalo Bills

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
Yup. I have a really complicated relationship with chill. "Chill out" never bothered me. Nor did "Nothin', just chillin'."
Yet, "chill" as an adjective got to me, especially when my GF would say it for some reason (ex: "Oh we had a lot of fun, she's so chill.")
Now the Netflix & Chill thing is massively overdone.
On top of that, "no chill" is quickly catching up to the competition. I was never cool enough to use that phrase in the first place but I think it's quickly approaching its expiration date. I had a couple of acquaintances use it in social statuses lately and it made me cringe pretty good, and that's coming from someone who generally has no room to judge word use.Comment

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
I can't stand that **** either. It's like, "yeah, right, that's why I said it."
It's also easy for whoever saying it to sound incredibly grating while doing it. It's not just a "right?" it's usually "RIGHHHHHT?!?!?!?!?!" with all sorts of theatrics and elongation.Comment

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
I also hate when people say "guy." Like, when I walk into a room and nod at someone and that person says "Whats up, guy." Huh? Guy? Are we about to square off or something? Just weird to me."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Hopefully, not in my father-in-laws case, that's 28 years down the toilet. He still says, Hey, guy, how are you doing?
Matrix, I agree with the theatrics and elongation part, just annoying as hell.
I wonder when this phenom started and I hope it fades soon.Comment
