My girlfriend and I finished up shopping last night. Saturday we hit it hard and shopped from 10am to 1:30pm. Stuck to some local shops where the crowds and traffic were MUCH better.
I have a short work week. Off Friday and Monday for the holidays, and then I took Tuesday-Thursday off for vacation next week. Then back for a half day on Friday before the New Year's Weekend.GT: Herkyalert

Thursday and Friday will be busy days. Thursday night we'll pack the vehicle with presents and luggage. Friday I get off work at noon, then a 45 minute drive back to the house to pick up the dog and get the baby situated and finally a 5-6 hour drive to Maryland.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx

I'm going to my grandma's house in San Antonio with my mom and brother. Time for the every so often family Christmas and the bi-annual San Antonio trip. 13 hour car ride. WOOHOO!Comment

This is my favorite time of the year as well. The Christmas movies, the commercials, the lights; everyone is in a good mood (for the most part). I love it.
For me, being away from family for the past five or so years, the only gift I want is time spent with the family. Time flies, everyone is getting older. If I could rewind, I'd go back to the days on Christmas morning, being a kid, waking up and running downstairs to open up a pack of G.I Joes, or a Nintendo. I guess that's what they mean when they say "memories last a lifetime".

To be honest i'm just not feeling Christmas this year. Maybe because I was at FSU up until late last week and was not around a bunch of xmas type stuff but idk.
