Absolutely hot water cleans better then cold.

The heat essentially excites and loosens the particles, whether that's germs bacteria or dirt, so they are more easily separated from your hands.

      Depends how I feel.

Sometimes I'll go hot, other times I'll go cold. A mixture of both is ideal, but too much work. Wow... lol.

        Cold water FTW.

Hot warms up too fast and I won't get a good washing in and it is too much work to get a nice in-between!

          Cold water usually..

If I'm at work, I use my foot to open the door instead of using my hand.

I'm not a germophobe, but I don't see the point in washing my hands just to use my hand to open the door. I can't count the times I've been in the restroom and someone leaves without washing their hands..

Haha, I do the "beat the heat" method too. Sometimes that sucker gets searing hot but not all the soap has rinsed off yet and you have to make a do or die decision.

But also I keep the giant tub of Germ-X by the sink as an alternative.

Hot water is a must for me as well. Also use a paper towel to turn off the faucet and open the door.

I like to do this as well, it's like a little real life mini-game.

Honestly, I only wash my hands when there are other people in the bathroom so they don't judge me. I don't wash my hands at home ever. Don't really believe in germs and I rarely get sick. That crap is overrated.

Remind me not to shake your hand

I wouldn't say I'm a germaphobe or anything, but I always wash my hands, then turn off the water and open the door using a paper towel. Always have to wash my hands or use hand sanitizer before using my hands to eat. I won't trip if I'm not at a place where I can't wash my hands, but I just feel better when I do.

I'm always disturbed when I'm in the bathroom, and someone comes out of the stall after #2, and proceeds to turn on the water to wash their hands for like 3 seconds without using soap. WTF?

I always wash my hands, every chance I get. I even normally do it before going to the bathroom if I think they were filthy enough.

I think it's sad to see people pass by you after going to the bathroom, and they don't follow up with washing their hands. It's bad enough that they don't do it on their own accord, but to do it right in front of my face, and touch the doorknob with your fingers that fiddled with your diddle? Not cool.

Got a lot of germophobes here. Turn the faucet off with the paper towel? Ive never seen anyone do this.

It makes sense, but I don't do it. I tend to stay away from public bathrooms anyway. Too many creepy *** mofo's around. And a LOT of dirty people.

In public bathrooms, I not only use the paper towels to turn off the faucet, but also to open the door on the way out.

You can call me a germophobe, but to those that don't wash their hands... they just use those same hands that were on their junk to open those door handles. So if I don't use it, that's like technically me touching his junk, when I go and grab the door handles to open the door. No thanks.
