Speaking of wings, what's the most anybody has consumed in one sitting? 38 for me.

I'd have to guess around 40. The next morning wasn't fun, good luck.

OK so with my landlord ignoring my emails & my advocates phone calls, how long should I wait before taking legal action? Is that a reasonable avenue? My apartment indoor temp has been 95+ for 4 straight days. My lease clearly states that the a/c is the landlords responsibility.

Do you know where the Landlord lives? I'd write a very strongly worded message and leave said letter by the door/mailbox and if the landlord doesn't respond within a couple days i'd make a verbal threat of getting a lawyer etc etc.

I'm not sure. I do know that the management company is a subsidiary of a local asphalt mogul. Should I go that far up the rung? Usually I would just tough things out until the issue is fixed, but with this heat wave I can't afford to sit around and twiddle my thumbs. I hate being a complainer, but this is ridiculous.

Nope. The obvious solution is to move somewhere else, but I just signed a 1 year renewal lease a month ago (before the a/c showed any signs of failure). I love the location being within walking distance of a super walmart, plus it's difficult to find studios in this area (my budget is extremely limited). This place would be perfect for me if it wasn't for the terrible management

I've never really ordered more then 20 wings, I suppose I could eat 40+ during the course of a 3 hour football game tho.

For as much as I love wings they don't sit well with me anymore just a few hours later

Yeah I dunno about going that far up the rung but the way it's going it's getting pretty damn ridiculous. I wonder if others in the building are having issues

I would seriously call the mayor's office, city hall or something of that sort and they can point you in the correct direction of what office handles landlords. Then I would contact the local news people too and expose this slum lord.

On the topic of wings.. A bar I used to frequent in college had amazing wings. Like 5 different specialty wings.. so good and I have eaten way too many of them. I'm headed back next weekend to see some friends.. Learned the bar's kitchen was closed down a couple months ago due to sanitary reasons...

Just what you like to hear about a place you've eaten at probably 50-100 times haha

Na.. You pay rent and there is a 'contract' (lease) involved. I would be complaining too. I'm sure the landlord would have no issue kicking you out if you broke the terms of the lease.

25, but I was starving before I ate them. On average I eat around 12 per sitting.

I think I can eat more if I stuck to BBQ wings instead of spicy ones. I like spicy wings but the BBQ ones are conducive to eating more.
