I've just been such a changed man since I graduated. I let making money change me a bit, and I'm not proud of it. I've changed into something I loathed. I guess I'm happy that I not only realized it, but was able to tell a few people in my life. I lost trust and questioned everyone's integrity. I started to question any and everyone, no one was safe; not even my own family.

I broke up with my girl over the weekend and caved in and told her the truth, that I haven't been treating her right and that I am pretty much depressed; that I need to get over this before I can move on in my life.

I contemplated giving it all up and starting from the bottom again.

For the first time in my life, I really have no idea what to do with myself.

      Re: Off Topic 2012

I went over to my friend's house yesterday and we built a huge track for RC cars, in his dad's shop. We dug out our old X-Mod RC cars from Middle School and raced with some other people. I also got to repair my more expensive RC Helicopter and put a new 3.3 motor on my T-Maxx nitro powered RC truck.

I guess you never get too old for toys.. lol.

The T-Maxx isn't really a toy, though. It is, but those things aren't cheap. My dad and uncle mess with them, so my dad was able to help me build one with parts and save a bunch of money. Now, most of my friends are into them. I found it funny that we were in a shop surrounded by motorcycles, 4 wheelers, a few cars, etc. and we're messing with toy cars instead..

I usually follow the "dress for success" model, but it's a retail store. A nice polo and dress pants should work just fine... you can't go wrong with that or a bunsiness professional look.

Someone wrote NO FOOD OR DRINKS on the markerboard in this computer lab and it's taking all of my restraint not to add OR FAT CHICKS to the bottom of it.

Wear something you're confident in that looks nice. It's great to wear suits and ties, but if it doesn't fit you and you're not confident, I don't think it really helps you.

Any tips on helping my wife get her sleep schedule fixed? Lately she's been staying up all night. I've tried getting her to take her meds earlier and waking up earlier, but she ends up going back to sleep most of the time.

After reading your reply after this I just want to say it's good that you recognized your problem as that the first step to rectifying the situation. I don't know exactly how much money you're making but if it's quite a bit then one way to make yourself feel a bit better about it and help people as would be to donate some money or give to a charitable cause of some kind.

It's also a good idea to keep the lines of communication open with family and friends and explain exactly what has happened to you. As for a quick soothing fix I suggest playing upbeat music that cheers you up.

A lot of my FaceBook friends (mostly former classmates) are always selling books to each other.. I never paid full price for any books.
