I got rid of Facebook... Probably a year ago now. Best Internet decision ever, and I don't miss it one bit. I was actually never a fan of twitter, but I use it quite a bit now.

It's only with people from here really though and a few friends from college day 5 years ago. My feed might as well as be an OS chat room, albeit with no rules.

You'll realize how easy and awesome it is a few days in once that initial shock is gone.

I don't post anything on FB really at all minus a status here and there, it's more of for stalking friends and chicks I meet.

I cleaned up my facebook a couple of weeks ago. Took about 70 people off my friend list (only had about 300) and honestly, I didn't feel like even that was enough... mostly just the super annoying ones and people I just didn't know that well...

I use Facebook because even with all the layout changes, it's still better looking and easier to use than Twitter. Not as much volume as Twitter but the spacing and aesthetics are much better.

Plus it's a bit more personal.

Closing my Facebook account was one of the greatest decisions I've made in life.

Can't say the same. Facebook allowed me to reconnect with some chicks from back in high school. It's good if you're single and looking for an easy way to pick up females.

Besides that Facebook was completely useless to me. Bunch of people I don't even hang with in life about bitching about stupid ****, fake showing off like their life is the greatest, and all the other nonsense. Nah, I'm good.

The only reason that I check Facebook all the time is that it's the only way I communicate my friends. We make plans on there. I've cut down my friends list to 150, and there are still more people that need to go.

I don't have any real issues with Facebook. I rarely post anything on there, but I do like to keep up with my friends from school and past jobs.

Twitter is still social media, but it's not really somewhere where you can keep up with friends.

If you don't stay focused on it or frequently check it, you can get lost in a back and forth conversation.

I have over 2500 tweets (I'm sure some people here blow that out of the water).. so it's not as if I don't like it. I just don't think it's "easy" for most people to use. If you ask most people who don't have one why they don't, they will likely say "I don't understand how to use it".
