Re: Off Topic 2012
I never been into Metallica........Only two or three songs they ever made I actually like. Vast majority of their stuff though just sounds like loud unnecessary noise to me that gives me the urge to break things and just go off on people. But nevertheless everybody has at least ONE Metallica song they like.
Sad though they don't make bands like them anymore. Back then you had to have actual talent. You actually had to know how to sing and play instruments. Now......you look good, don't worry we will just computerize the rest.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
It's great to see so many people are fans of the classic bands and songs.
Sadly, a lot of the better artists today, especially the ones with deep, thoughtful lyrics are considered "underground" or never get the recognition from the average listener that they should.
Instead when we turn on our TV's or radios we hear:
"To the window, to the wall.
To the sweat drop down my balls.
To all skeet skeet, all skeet skeet.

Close. Metallica '89 hands down. I'd do anything to be at the concert in the spoiler.

Also, early 90s Bad Religion or Pennywise.
Also, Zeppelin in the 70s.

Re: Off Topic 2012
I really enjoyed the Black Album although it obviously wasn't thrash anymore, that's pretty much where that aspect died. Then the whole Load/Reload thing happened, and St. Anger, etc.
IMO Death Magnetic was a great comeback album and I can't wait to hear more.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Off Topic 2012
I'm a pretty huge Rock and Metal fan, but I've never really cared for Metallica.
They have a few songs that I like from various albums, but all in all, they have never done anything for me. I have some friends who would shoot me for saying that.. lol.Comment
