Would've been funny if you opened the pizza and a couple slices were gone.

Step 1. Go to gym at 430. Completed
Step 2. Get kids fed dressed and off to school. In progress...

I did, because I'm a sucker like that, but it was just a few bucks. She was nice for sure, just high as giraffe balls is all.

Could have been worse she could have left a little baggy of Ganja in the pizza box.

Well that might not be so bad depending on your situation.

My connection speeds have been an on-going battle. I think our modem is going, or something. It's been blazing fast in the past, then randomly it would go limited. Now, it's just slow to load most pages, and it goes limited randomly still. Like, I couldn't watch Netflix on my PS3 because of this, and wasted money on the NFL Sunday Ticket package for PS3. I'm surprised it's even that fast. Blame it on Jersey!

On a different note... I guess I've got to look for a new job, it's just hard to find motivation when you've already got one. But the new general manager they put in place screwed up everyone's schedule. In fact, he just screwed up the schedule in general. He didn't have anyone on to open yesterday, so I pointed it out and said okay I'll take it (I've been opening Tuesday's since I moved up to shift runner in September).

Then when he comes in, he says you ready to close tonight? I had noticed the schedule said 10 to 1130 (which is a close), but I figured he just forgot to put 10-7 or 10-8. Nope, he was expecting me to open-close... which I gave him a big fat hell no, I ain't doing it. In fact, I'm not gonna learn how to close at all because the guy who's been closing 5 nights a week just put in his 2 weeks and was told he didn't have to come in anymore anyway, so he's gone.

Sorry, but I'm not even gonna give them the chance to screw me into closing the store. I don't want to in the first place, but I was thinking maybe I could just learn and maybe a night a week or something (I prefer opens... way more hours and it's easy as hell and don't have to be at work until 1 AM or later). But nah, if I refuse to learn, they can't even schedule me for it. I know it's going to piss them off, and my hours will probably be cut and they'll say oh you would've gotten the hours if you offered to close. And of course everyone says oh no you'll only have to do it once or twice a week, everything is rainbows and flowers, then reality happens and I'm beat. The dude even said he likes to close over open... okay, I'll open, you close. Oh noooo no no. I see and smell and hear the bull****. I'm not a fool..

This company is just a piece of **** and this new GM is trying to minimize labor and maximize effort, yet we're still seeing the same wages. So hell if I'm going out of my way to do favors for them. I know raises aren't given out here, I went hard in the past and didn't see **** for it.

Ugh. My job was pretty awesome, now it just ****ing blows.

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
