Hows this for a proposal you can't turn down.

My friend here in Pittsburgh has a girlfriend who's father is a pilot so they get free airfare. Today he offered to get me a ticket to fly out to Denver in March for the Penguin-Avalanche game.

So free airfare, plus I have a good amount of family members in Denver which means free airfare, free lodging, with the only cost being the cost of the hockey tickets.

No brainer and I can't wait.

School yes, work no. At least here. You're expected to be into work regardless of weather conditions...unless the state declares a snow emergency (closes all roads and makes it illegal to drive)
