I live 10 minutes away from work and that is probably 5-7 miles. I typically drive up the interstate about once a week, but the way gas prices have been I'm glad I live so close to work. I don't drive more than I have to recently.

I work at a TV station, and we just had the worst day a station can have other than not going on air completely. Our director's switcher died, so he had to run downstairs to Master Control to punch the show. Well, the switcher in MC doesn't do stuff the same as it used to. So as our MCO is adding 4 1/2 minutes worth of commercials just so we don't go on air in black, the director is trying to figure everything out. So we get on air, and we find out that when we put videos in, the anchor's mic cut off. The entire half hour show, we have no videos, so we can't move cameras during videos, which means we kept the same shots for the majority of the shows, except for during commercials.

And what was all this for, you ask? Because the people in charge wanted to switch to 16:9 a ****ing year before we're ready to.

What a frytening dream that must have been. If that were real life, I would have broken everything in syte out of pure rage and frustration that my wife was not too bryte in that particular moment. I would have lifted the coffee table up to her hyte, then smashed that damn thing down with all my myte. Then I would sit back down on the couch, take a deep breath, and smile in delyte at my Hulk smash success.

I mean, come on, you guys would do the same thing too. Am I ryte?

I seriously doubt he's removed himself from in front of his TV since he received it. Probably will sleep with the system on so he can just resume playing when he wakes up. IF he goes to sleep that is.
