Back to that basketball video. There are 9.1 seconds on the clock. I timed it because I mistook the crowd cheering as coinciding with the buzzer going off. I'm pretty sure he got the shot off in time.

Moral of the story - stick to hockey, Canada. There are boards to prevent storming of the playing field by both sets of fans.

I'm joining Fresh Tendrils in my disdain for small businesses.

The feeling of finishing up a tax return and sending it in for review only to receive a new, 'corrected' P/L and B/S, that requires more work to fix, a few days later. -_-.

Going to a random game and seing a new stadium is far better than watching a game on TV. Baseball is a in-the-background type of thing for teams I don't care about. I'll drift in and out of paying attention. At live games, I like to keep score.

I'm joining Fresh Tendrils in my disdain for small businesses.

The feeling of finishing up a tax return and sending it in for review only to receive a new, 'corrected' P/L and B/S, that requires more work to fix, a few days later. -_-.

Client: Is this important? *hands over 1099-R...or even better 1099-B*

Of course you can't slap them like you want to since they're your client and give you your wage. It seems like mutual fund companies have been dragging their feet this year. We've gotten quite a bit of 1099Rs and Bs that keep finding their way in.

What's different about the Targaryen edition?

I need to get my *** in gear and get **** done. I want to finish A Clash of Kings before April 1. I need to get through two more seasons of Mad Men before March 25th. I still need to pick up my ME3 preorder and finish my renegade ME2 run through so I can start ME3. I need more time in the day to do things.

Also, it is crazy how different Dexter season 2 is from season 1. Its basically two completely different shows as far as I'm concerned. Not that I'm not enjoying it, its just a different atmosphere in the second season. But Michael C. Hall will always be David Fisher to me.

The books are great if you haven't read them. The show moves really fast, but I feel like the encounters are more subtle in the books and the battles/fights tend to be more epic than on screen - as weird as that seems.

I'm not a huge reader, to be honest. I have heard that they are great by a lot of people though. Even if I was, I don't want to spoil things for myself, so I'd stick with the first book.

I picked them up because I was getting that "itch" to read again after being forced to read text books for so long in high-school and college I lost the appeal to read for fun, but these books have brought me back in. It is crazy, but it really reminds me of reading Once and Future King.

Plus, I feel like Arya, Jon, and Tyrion are all more badass in the books than on the show. At least so far anyway.

That said, they are relatively long and dense. I didn't really feel like I had fully grasped the world and its characters until I finished A Game of Thrones. A Clash of Kings, on the other hand, seems a lot easier to read.
