Day 5 of no cable. Still no word from the landgirl. I'm placing the over/under at 3 weeks until she responds. In the meantime I checked around on ESPN3 to see if can watch shows on there, since I'd never tried before, and it's confusing. So, I can watch ESPN3 and replays of older games, but I can't watch ESPN or ESPN2 (powered by AT&T) because my ISP (AT&T) isn't one of the available ISPs? Why would AT&T power WatchESPN but not allow their internet subscribers access to the site? Am I missing something?

I mean, I know how to watch online streams on other sites, but the quality on ESPN3 was better (was watching the big east tourney earlier), and it's hard to find a stream for actual shows, and the main one for ESPN2 just got shut down.

I've never played SSX and don't even know what it is.

SSX is EA's arcade snowboarding game. It is very fun, very addicting. There is a demo out on PSN and XBL.

Has anyone else ever come to the realization that some people you're friends with can't keep up with your lifestyle. I'm talking 25-32 still without any kind of career or desire to better their financial situation. They never have money to attend a concert or go to a ballgame. Can't even afford to grab lunch and a couple beers.

At the same time they always have the latest video games or the latest iPhone.

Basically their priorities are completely out of wack. Not saying they aren't good people. It's just you feel like they sorta drag you down.

I hear ya boss. It gets better with time. I'm 32 now and back when I was 25 or so, I'd say the same thing. My friends never kept a steady job or even had money to go out on trips or anything. Now its getting better. Everyone in my circle is working now(few exceptions) and we've been getting together more often because of it. Hell, for the first time ever, I recently started playing my buddies on XBL. Crazy how we all started off being close because of video games but nobody ever decided to get XBL so we can keep up.

So running these 100 yard sprints is no fun. It doesn't help it's up hill. I feel like I'm having a heart attack after 4. I figured I could do more than that, but once I started doing them, I realized how long 100 yards actually is.

Bleh we did 20 100yd sprints 1st day of 2 a days Sophomore year was pretty rough threw up twice

Conditioning never was a problem for me when playing sports. I could keep up with anyone there and was always finishing near first no matter if we ran 5 miles or ran 100 sprints.

But I guess my lack of attention to cardio since I've started working out on my own left me off a lot worse than I actually thought. When playing pickup games at the gym, I still feel like I used to when I played sports. I can sprint up and down the court and not lose a beat, but when I'm working out by myself, these sprints are really wearing me down quickly.

I hated running 100 yard dashes, but for whatever reason loved 300 yard shuttles.

My favorite conditioning was gassers and idk the name but everyone jogs in a line around the field but the last guy sprints to the front.

The worst? Up-downs, hands down. Lost a game in JV 48-0, did sprints(10 yards, 20 yards, all the way to 100 and working back down) that added up to atleast 3 miles. Thought we were finally done, but then we started to do 120 up downs. I threw up around 100, knee gave out a few later and that's when I found out I had a meniscus tear and arthritis

My problem used to be the opposite. I could run sprints all day and be cool, but a mile? I'd die.

Then when I lived by the Capitol every MWF I'd run to the Lincoln memorial and back which round trip was just under 8 miles. And I hate running. Good, uh, scenery every day, if ya dig.

Now since my surgeries I'm waiting until I get out of the military to start running again, its been over a year since I've truly worked out. I can tell I'm gonna be dying on everything.

Edit: chris we called the back to front thing Indian runs.

Yeah I could never do the long distance running, never was really able to run more then a mile or not that I tried to anyways
