Considering even I skipped out on 2k12 to stay with 2k11, yes

I've bought every Show since 08 and haven't bought 2k since 07. Although, I'm sure it's a great game, The Show is getting a little stale for me. I only played 11 for one month and ended up selling it in June. Plus the main item on my wishlist (career stats) was ignored yet again. I think it may be time for a change. Also everything that I've wanted for The Show franchise wise (rehab assignments, chronic injures, career stats, etc.) appears to be in 2k. Who knows? Maybe it will make me appreciate The Show even more.

I know Watson skipped out on 12, but everything I've read, even the bad reviews, have said that it fixes a lot of bugs from 11. Perhaps you should give it a shot.

Actually, I was looking at a chart at the vet my mom takes her dogs to once a few years back and the forumula is not an exact 1 human year = 7 dog years. It actually depends on size and went something like this

1st 2 years - 1 year = 10.5 dog years (all sizes)
Dogs < 50 lbs - Each subsequent = 4 dog years
Dogs 51-100 lbs - Each subsequent year = 6 dog years
Dogs > 100 lbs - Each subsequent year = 8 dog years.

The weights are most likely wrong, but should be close to the actual ranges.

Using that formula my Newf who lived to be 12.5 years old was 105 in dog years. Our Chocolate Lab who we had to put down about 2 months past her 9th birthday was 64 dog years old. And I'm about 252.3 dog years old.

It's not that bad, I have both games for the PS3, both are fun.

You're like 21, 22 years old. The best years in life are ahead of you. Stop worrying about what happened in the past and stay looking towards the future. That's what I do.

Life is what you make of it. If you refer to the high school or college years as the best years of your life when you're 40 or 45 then you can start to feel like a failure.

Seriously though, the best day of your life could be tomorrow. Cheesy, but true. Keep your head up, life's too short to be unhappy.

Tangential to that note, my family lost one of my uncles on my dad's side of the family today. It's been a somber day for us, obviously.

At least, as a silver lining, I have the memory of him helping me pick out and buy my first guitar and teaching me my first few chords, and I'll be reminded of him in a happy way whenever I pick up my Strat.
