My fiance just asked me my favorite Star Wars character in preparation for my birthday.

1) What a ****ing difficult choice. After a lot of thought, I listed my top 4: Chewie, Lando, Obi-Wan, Vader

2) She is my soulmate. There isn't even a ****ing doubt.

So my girlfriend was just fired by Sears....
basically Sears changed their policy a couple of months ago that said you can't give the 15% discount to people just signing up for credit card apps. Her boss (gets $$ for each credit app the store gets) was basically all but allowing the entire store to continue the policy. My girlfriend had hands down the best credit app numbers...so the boss threw her under the bus to corporate and she got terminated due to integrity.....

That's some BS, man. Pretty shady that the boss tells them to keep up the old policy, then swings the axe on the best employee that follows his orders.

Give me a break.

It's a typical screw job when you work for most big companies. It always rolls down hill and screws over the simple employee when the boss should have been axed.

It worse in the military. Too many times do I see Sgts getting a dui, sexual assault charge or some other stupid stuff then I'm having to come in on my off time for a briefing on that subject.
We had some kid in our squadron get a dui and the policy is if your squadron gets a dui you gotta march in your service dress for a day. Its Arizona. Hopefully they do it next month when I'm on leave.

Ya....he didn't want to fire her but it was a corporate decision. Worst part is since it's termination due to integrity she's screwed for unemployment benefits. Not shopping at Sears anymore...
