Yeah it kept it open enough for some lights to stay on, gonna get it jumped tomorrow by my uncle on his way to work was just curious if it would at least last through the day but guess i'll find out

Ah yes battery issues. Gotta love dead car batteries. Replace it as soon as you can if it is actually dead. You dont want to be in thee wrong place at the wrong time with a car that refuses to start.

Young people.....word of advice. Invest in one of these and keep it in your trunk at all times.

Now far as the battery staying charged after your uncle give you a jump, if you leave it running long enough it might stay charged a couple of days. But you definitely want to get a new battery.

            Re: Off Topic 2012

If you charged it or drove it and a few days later it's dead again, then you need a new battery. There's no saving that one. The good news is, when you buy a new one, you usually get at least a year or two warranty.

If it's still a good battery and just drained down, a quick drive or charge should fix it up. The battery in my car really needs replaced, but it's still fine as long as I don't leave any lights or the radio on without running it occasionally. I drive it at least every other day and it cranks up just fine.

I've been riding my motorcycle more, with the warm weather. Much cheaper on gas!

Weird fact about SS Cobalts (I'm sure there are others like it) the main battery is actually in the trunk, under the mat. It took me a minute to find my battery, when I had to disconnect it. Also, the oil filter isn't under the motor. It's on top, in the front, and under the supercharger... serious pain in the *** to change. Luckily, it uses a drop in filter. It even takes 6 damn quarters of oil... for a 4 cylinder car. They made a lot of features on these things very strange, but I love it.

I deal with a bunch of different cars each day and I still haven't found any like that, except a few newer Chrysler Sebrings.

Doh! I had a password and login to download every episode (until episode 88) of The Walking Dead free on my iPhone.... It doesn't work anymore. No!!!! Guess I'll have to pay for them now.

I started reading The Walking Dead TPBs again. I forgot how great they were. I finished the first volume last night and hopefully can start the second on my lunch break later. I have the first four, but I only remember reading the first two - maybe I didn't even finish the second one IIRC.

I don't have a PS3, but lately I've been wanting to play some of the exclusives and I think my current blu-ray player is on the way out (its about 5 years old now).

For some reason deciding what to do on Father's Day has fallen upon my shoulders. I normally wouldn't care, but nobody wants to offer input. I think I've figured it all out and I even texted my brother last night to relay the information. He texts me about 15 minutes ago and asks what we're doing on Sunday. *facepalm* I just reply and ask if he was drunk last night.

That still isn't as bad as figuring out what to do tomorrow with one of my friends. The overall plan is to go hiking. Seems like it would take 5 minutes to figure out. We've hiked 5 miles no problem, but he's weary of doing more than that and I want to push it to 7 miles (preferably 9 miles, but **** he's not even gonna try that). He says no to trails, but doesn't look up any or give any input other than "I can't do that." He wants to meet at my parent's house because I guess in his mind its halfway, but considering he's thinking that I'm going to drive from there to the trail it is probably about 3x more driving for me than it is for him. So either he gets in line or I'm just gonna go hike by myself yet again.

Mine got the YLOD a few weeks ago. Just put in the request to get a replacement slim PS3 from Sony.
