Is that true of Polish ancestry? I never knew. But that does explain a lot. I always take the longest road...NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Re: Off Topic 2012
Well here in Cali (LA or SD doesn't matter I've seen them in both cities) we have those ketchup containers at most fast food places.
You take your little cup and over by the self serve soda fountain they have little ketchup fountains to fill up your cup.
I was shown opening it up like that so that you could get to all the ketchup when I was a kid and been doing it ever since.
Dunno where the hell you guys are at that you've never seen nor heard of this.
Not all fast food places have them, but I know places like In N Out and McDonalds do.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
I think I've found my "in" with business groups/meetings.
I'm young enough that I'm still "green" and most elder businessmen seem to have some kind of mentoring complex so they're always friendly with advice and words of wisdom and taking you "under their wing" so to speak. We'll see if it actually works down the road.
Anyway, had a business meeting this morning on 1031s/Deferred Exchanges. Pretty helpful stuff.

I guess I'm more mind blown by people using those little cups all this time and not noticing the little pleats in it, all around the cup and it never occurred to them to undo all those pleats.
I guess as the old saying goes, you learn something new everyday.Comment

Honestly, its never occurred to me either. Not that I'm dipping burgers into ketchup so I guess I've never needed a bigger surface area to dip from.

Only Arby's and Long John Silvers still have those cups in my area. Both places where the trick is much used and needed. Horseradish Sauce and Tarter Sauce, respectively. Not that I frequent those places much...Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
