This part of DB series sucked, but this song from it was great(and is now stuck in my head)

Everything about the new job sounds like a better situation for you. My opinion? You're crazy if you pass it up just because change scares you.

And as far as insurance goes... it's only three months. If you're new job pays more you'll make up the difference. You can also do like I did and simply get accident insurance if you aren't someone who has to visit the doctors a lot.

Better pay, better hours, more time with family, and a job you'll enjoy more..... Not a whole lot to really think about here man!

Do it, man. I've been making an effort to be more spontaneous in life since the summer and it's been awesome. Taken a few spur-of-the-moment road trips, said "screw it" (no pun intended) and went up to random chicks, which made for either some fun times or crazy stories to tell later, and decided to take a trip to Texas for my first Cowboys game and a tour of the stadium. Some of my favorite decisions I've ever made have come these last few months when I've decided to just say yes/go for things.

I really respect people that are diverse risk takers, and are constantly going out of their comfort zones, moving around all over the globe, trying new and exhilarating activities, constantly meeting new people. Maybe they will do something in a more unconventional way in such that's it's a big gamble but the payoffs could be huge.

I myself struggle with dealing with change, so much so that it can be a detriment. I've lived in the same place for 10+ years now, been employed at the same place for 4, most of the people I interact with I do so on a daily basis.

I went into 2012 with this philosophy, I started playing basketball again and that alone will go down as one of the best decisions of my life. I've got a new group of friends and its been a good year.

One day I was in a pick up game with a few friends and we took a breather. All of my friends were sitting down and I started pacing back and forth and was telling them what we should be doing. I didn't really realize what I was doing until one of my friends interrupted with the phrase, "Who made you the coach?" I paused for a second and analyzed what I had just done which was naturally and almost subconsciously went into coach mode. I discovered a very important part of myself that day and since then have strongly considered pursuing a coaching career. I'll be in college next year pursing a Computer Science degree but will be doing my best to get involved in the basketball team and see if coaching is really meant for me.

To sum it up, a small change can take you to new places or return you to something you have forgotten and have a big (and great) outcome.

Health insurance is overrated. I've been without it for 6 months. Nearly dislocated my ankle playing basketball but it didn't deter me. Go with your heart!

Thanks you guys for your input. My heart tells me if I don't take this chance that I'll regret it and not get the opportunity again.

This could not have come at a worse time for me to be stressing about it since it's finals week, but glad it did come I think.

I was thinking to prank people with Fake iPhone 5... Anyone know a place where I can get one (preferably with a black screen and is not eBay?) I'm such in a jolly mood, I've never spent anything on anyone, lol. But in all seriousness, I would love to find a fake iPhone 5 with a box, Earpods, fake Lightning cable, and "fake" paperwork + stickers. When it comes to clones + fake pranks, I wanna the product to look legit as possible.

So, I was playing my guitar yesterday and I look down and there is a mother****ing spider climbing up the side of my pick-ups and up on my strings. He actually manages to make his way down my fret board. I was able to remain calm long enough to snap a couple pictures, but once he got to the headstock I knocked him to the floor and stomped the **** out him.

Burn the guitar. It's been desecrated.

That's exactly it man... You don't want to look back and regret this, think "what if". You'll beat yourself up forever if you realize you didn't make the change just because the newness of it all scared you.

My wife and I went through the same things, and 2 yrs later, here we are in Texas, instead I still stuck in Iowa wondering what good have been.

                              Good luck
