I feel silly admitting this, but I watched Boyz n the Hood for the first time this weekend. It ****ing blew my mind.

So now you have a glimpse of what my childhood was like growing up in Chicago. Just replace houses and warm weather with very large apartment buildings and cold weather.

I don't know if I've ever been more nervous to play a video game as I am in my NBA 2K13 Association.

I have an 82 game franchise with the Celtics (actually played about 40 games during the regular season) and I just lost Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals to Miami. Now we're going back to Miami for Game 7. I have probably 60 hours worth of game time invested into this season and if I lose we go home empty handed. It probably wouldn't be as bad, but I'm feeling the pressure because two of my stars are older (Pierce and Garnett) and are likely on the verge of a steep decline and/or retirement. Wish me luck.

I know the feeling. Took the Nets to 7 games in the ECF (with my 3rd year Bobcats!) only to get swept by OKC.

Ha! No. I just don't like waking up before 7. Especially when I have to be in a rush. Oh well, that part of my morning is over, and I'm in O'Hare for my coming flight to Portland.

Then a two hour drive, and I'll be home in our house, sitting with our cat (which will hate us and probably pee on something as a way to get back at us (dammit cat)), and just ****ing relaxing before the real world comes back tomorrow.

Although, I do work at home tomorrow, so the real world will be a bit more relaxed than usual.

I hated flying through O'Hare. Weather and all just make for too many variables, and every time I got delayed.

I'm enjoying it too though, but thats only because of OS Vets.

Im enjoying Madden too. I've got a solid offline CC going with the Chiefs, Redskins in 3DS, and I've been playing some ultimate team and online games. So far, I've been able to play legit and shut down most cheese that's came my way in random online games. I'm 4-1, right now.

Feels like I haven't been to work in ages. WTF do I do?

Hope everybody had a good Christmas. Probably the best Christmas I've had in a while. Great times with family and a great topper to the day with some certain extra female curricular activities.

I thought I was going to have the same problem until I returned to work this morning. I get to work to unlock the doors and there's 18 cars waiting for me on a few car haulers. We all ready have more cars than we know what to do with on the lot and in the holding lot..

I get that the company wants to prepare for tax season (dealership sold 145 cars last February), but c'mon..

Definitely more like The Wire.....because my neighborhood was considered a safe zone and the police allowed the hoodlums to do what ever the hell they wanted to within it.

Online players give it hate.........Those are the ones complaining the most. I play it strictly offline and having a blast. IMO 2K13 is the best 2K since 2K8.

Pretty much this. And honestly, I get the hate for online. Offline I can get the game to play great. Online, on the other hand is, in the words of Sir Charles, turrible. Why, you ask? Because for one, online forces you to use shot stick rather than Real Player % and two in the Coach Profiles the Run Plays slider is backwards. I can fix that offline, but can't online.

NBA 2k games is the only sports game I get nervous with. Others I just get excited about something, but usually if I have a huge game coming up I feel like I'm in control and will win. With 2k I get nervous and scared. lol

I'm guessing because basketball is a game you really have to be on top of at all times. It's not football where you have time to digest everything and take a deep breath before and after plays.

And the fact that I'm not very good at 2k to begin with anyway. lol

I completely agree. You definitely don't want to go for a sip of water or something while you're trying to guard Lebron or DWade. I learned that the hard way.

Sounds pretty cool. You know some of you guys could come to the NBA 2K forum from time to time and post about you Associations and what not. It would be nice to see some familiar names rather than people with join dates of the current month and names with a bunch of z's and x's. #letstakebackthemainfourmsin2013.com

I had a dream last night that I missed my flight(to god knows where) and the plane stopped mid flight and came back to get me. The plane didn't land though. It was just hovering in the sky like a helicopter and they threw a rope down for me to climb up.

I also remember having to go pee, so I went to the bathroom before getting on the plane and then some guy came in(apparently climbed out of the plane and went down the rope) and said hurry up and I told him to tell the pilot it'll be just a sec I have to use the bathroom.

No idea where that dream came from, but definitely one of the more odd ones I can remember.

Hopefully you didn't wake up in urine soaked sheets.

Young BuM had the "dream of going to bathroom while actually wetting the bed" problem.
