You will be envious of my amazingness.

Unless that is understood I simply cannot allow you to witness it for fear you will grow upset over your inability to compare.

Honesty Facebook is mostly a joke to me. That's how I treat it and it's how I get by with it's ridiculousness.

Re: OS or the Social Network

OS is a great place for me to get and share info and perspectives on my favorite sports and video games. I also spend pretty copious amounts of time in the Neighborhood and OT.

FB is pretty much my way to keep in touch with long distance family members and friends I don't see too often. Everyone who is close to me I just text or call anyway.

Twitter is basically an extension of OS OT for me since most of my followers and people I follow are OSers. But I also use it for up to the minute information on sports and news and I normally try to follow funny, entertaining, or informative people.

Re: OS or the Social Network

I only use Twitter for networking with people I know who make music like me.

I might log in to FB maybe once a week. I don't even know why I have it anymore.

I come here to discuss sports. I only have one friend who I can really have in depth sports convo's with, other than that it's painful talking with my friends about sports lol Their knowledge is a little limited.

For instance my friend and I played college baseball together, and he claimed to be a Red Sox fan, but could only name David Ortiz and Dice-K off the team.

Re: OS or the Social Network

Great post Graphik and all valid points.

I only use FB to keep up with family & (actual) friends, not acquaintances or friends of friends like most have said here already.

I keep my friends list to under 100 because quite frankly, there isn't that many people I care enough about to have a friends list as ridiculously long as my kids, my sister or my gf does.

Twitter, I don't use it because between FB, OS & the many other sites I go to, I get all the information I need.

I often wonder for those of you who stretch out your e-persona by using everything like FB, Twitter, OS, Tumblr, etc, at which point does internetting stop being relaxing and start becoming work.

I'm mainly on twitter nowadays. Its keeps the drama of everyday life out and brings the best parts of sports news and OS with it.

I use facebook to talk to friends but I'm not on much, I mainly post statuses to keep family and friends from Raleigh updated on how I'm doing.

                OS...I run this ****.

I've been bitching a lot lately over the status updates on Facebook.

                    Growing tiresome of them. Blah.

                    Thanks OS.
