My main issue I'm killing myself over is I put to much time and energy into this for six years, I sacrificed too much, it hurts, it does. I know she is not worth and never has been.

I hear ya. You question every moment you wasted with this lady. Was this the plan all along? Everything that felt so real, now feels so fake. It's a damn tough spot. You could have been out there finding your REAL soulmate, or doing stuff for yourself, or spending more time with your children instead of all the wasted time on this lady.

I say it's okay to have these thoughts. It's natural. And you need to have them to get over them. No matter how hard you fall into them, you can never lose sight that it's in the past and you're powerless to change that. The best you can do is make today right, and make sure your future is better then what's already written. Every day you take a step forward and in the right direction.

I prescribe a heavy dose of music. I lost myself in music when I was going through **** with my girl, and it really does help you cope, release, and move on.

I was just really nervous living alone, I had my daughters mother for 6 years and got involved this one for the last 6...living alone is going to be so new to me, I have a lot if friends who live alone and they say they love it....starting over at 33 seems just a little odd. Idk

You have to take ownership of what you can. Good for you in getting a new place. If this girl is as you say, you have to break the cycle. And not just with her. Learn from this. Learn that you can be responsible and take care of yourself and your kids. That's what you are doing. Take every day one day at a time. Let tomorrow worry about itself. One thing at a time, and at the end of the day, be at peace in knowing you are correctly focused and are working at making your life healthy.

This will in turn help you make better choices for your future. The new apartment and new routine may be difficult to get used to, but in time ou will get through this and be more careful in your judgement.

It's all about personal growth for the better. Learn from this and you will make better decisions for you and your family.

Whatever makes you feel better, or at least gets you thinking.

I listen to Pop punk, rock, alternative, post-hardcore, ska mostly... it keeps me going. That's just me.

I'd just put on whatever you typically like, and get lost in the music.

have been feeling ok the last few days, but today I'm a little bummed, my first V-day alone...She is moving out Thursday and Friday and I should be out by Saturday...


I'm just a little bummed, from being a player in my single days to a family man the last 10, I feel a bit lonely today...Don't wanna sound cheesy. IDK.

Glad you're starting to feel better FF. Like many before me have said, things like this take time. Just have faith that this is for the best and you will be a better person for having overcome this rough experience. Keep your head up, chief!

well I'm suppose to finally move out tomorrow as she is also, me in the morning and her at night, just feeling a little bummed today, as I have been trying to block out a lot of things, hopefully when I get in my new place I can forget a lot of this and finally get my life back.


I have been painting all day week after work and I'm mentally and physically exhausted.


I know all of this is for the better, just still a bit down..
