Moral of the story? I need more cupholders.
So are you ok with people dumping their trash on your property?

        Implied consent.
That is also implied consent for me to rearrange the pearly whites if it's on or near my house!

I thought it was pretty clear that he believe's it's ok to dump his stuff wherever he wants (on someone else's property-private or public) so I assume that he would have no problem with other people dumping their trash where ever they want, even if that happens to be his property.

If I throw a cup out my window on to your lawn, do I have a right to get upset if someone else does the same to me?

Well this should also be educational.

I commend Dayman for admitting what he does. As a forum, we can perhaps find a way to lead him down a better path of cleanliness.

For me at least littering on someone's private property is worse than say at Taco Bell. I know littering anytime is wrong but he didn't throw his cup in someone's flower bed.

To me it's more disrespectful to throw it on someone's private property then a public place like a fast food restaurant.

It's possible but depending on where the restaurant is I highly doubt it goes to a residential street.

The local Taco Bell, Wendy's, Chili's, and Roadhouse are all backed up against a trailer park. Sure, its obviously not a upper class neighborhood, but I doubt they like hamburger wrappers and cups coming through their properties.

That's why I said depending where it is.

Regardless, someone else is going to have to pick it up eventually. Whether it be a Taco Bell employee, a passing by citizen or someone who had it blow into their property, someone is impacted.

                              Simple Golden Rule stuff, IMO.

Why not just put the cup on the floor of the car? If it is full of liquid, dump it and then put the cup on the floor of the car until the next stop. I just don't get using the planet as your own trash can.

Hell, I'll be honest. I litter from time to time too. I'm sure I'll lose some respect on here, but I'll leave my fast food bag and drink in the parking lot of some fast food places. I will from time to time throw something out the window. And I once tried to shoot my trash in someone elses trash can when I was the passenger. But I never intentionally throw trash in someone's yard.
