That cabbage patch kid reminded me of something. My lil bro would hate to know I'm puttin him out there like this but oh well. He used to love his My Buddy. I still tease him about how he played with that doll. My lil sister had the Kid Sister. She cut the hair off and tried to draw makeup on with marker, that was one scary *** looking doll by the time she got finished with it.

I had a navy blue members only jacket in the 80s. I thought I was so fly. I never got into the starter jacket fad though.

In the early Eighties, we used to go to the hipster rock boutique on St. Mark's Place (Trash & Vaudeville) and buy Porsche gasket rings to wear as bracelets...

Then, this club chick from Detroit who called herself "Madonna" got a record deal and wore them prominently on her first album cover...instantly making them "not cool" from that point forward...

True story...

I never got down with Goosebumps, but I do remember reading several of RL Stine's books. The Babysitter series and Beach House come to mind.
