Honestly, Kohls has really nice suits that aren't bad on the price side.

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
For $400-600 you can get 2-4 suits from Kohls/JCPenny's that should last. The only reason I've gotten rid of mine were because I lost weight.

Just remember, the most important thing about buying a suit is making sure it FITS YOU. Use your shoulders as the measuring point; it's supposed to land on your shoulders, not go over it or fall short of it.Comment

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
Interesting I've had no issues with them but I only have 2 suits from them. Originally, I was warily of going there but I got a recommendation from a relatively high profile and wealthy person that I decided to go there. As for my background, I don't have a job that requires me to wear a suit everyday so I am not anything close to an expert on this haha."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
If you're going the Jos A Bank route I recommend buying something off the rack there and having it tailored elsewhere. Anytime you ask their staff to do anything besides ring you out they have the propensity to screw it up.
I was in two wedding parties that got tuxes/suits from there, one of the two weddings we were buying the suits, not renting. It was such a disaster, I didn't know it was possible to screw up something so simple to the extent that they did."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I'm thinking about jumping on this watch.
I've been looking for one with a black strap, but I don't know much about Invicta.

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
Fall stuff should begin rolling out shortly, best time of the year.
Bought some wheat/camel jeans for the first time in my life over the weekend, should give me a whole bunch of new options to play with this Fall."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
Didn't know we had one of these threads on this site! Just wanted to start it back up again. We could start off with this post from Put This On regarding the essential wardrobe (interesting read for those looking into re-doing their wardrobe or simplifying it): http://putthison.com/post/712103418/...rhaps-the-most.
I have worked with tailors and a number of my friends have gotten into the fashion industry, so if you guys have any questions (i.e. which jacket to get, should I get this, etc.), feel free to ask! I like to think of myself as having a pretty diverse style whether it's dressing up with a well tailored shirt and tie or dressing down with some comfy sweats and kicks.Comment
