Wish we had some more life in this thread. Anyone buying anything fun with all the end-of-season winter sales?

I've got an addiction, bought six new sweaters in the last three weeks alone. I did a quick inventory and I now own over 25 sweaters lol. I better never move out of New England with all the money I spend on winter clothing.

Yeah this thread burned real hot and died fast.

I actually did just spring for a couple sweaters yesterday. The zip up wool type.

Once I get a chance I'm gonna do a little write up showing how I dress daily and my style. It's a mix between preppy and street wear

Right now I'm waiting for some new clothes to come in from ASOS. I don't think they've been mentioned in this thread. It's a British clothing place and they now have a American sight. They sell a lot of street wear trendy like stuff. I've bought a pit of Jack and Jones trainers and a t shirt from there before.

        This weekend I bought
        Longline zip sweater
        3/4 sleeve notch collar shirt

And a long line contrasting sleeve knit shirt

I bought a couple scarves since they were on super clearance sales with the winter ending. Also picked up these two things. Nothing special, but I needed a new pair of sneakers because my old ones are just destroyed pretty much.

And I'm looking into casual shoes for going out if you guys have any suggestions on where to look/some different looks. I'm thinking I'll go with black because I already have brown casual shoes and these new sneakers are gray, so yeah...

I like those Jordans. I need a pair of navy shoes to go with all my blues.

I feel like I'm stuck in-between styles at the moment. I've always been a t-shirt guy, but I'm starting to want to dress more adult. I'll always stick to jeans and sneakers, but for tops I'm starting to prefer sweaters and casual dress shirts especially since they are pretty versatile.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly where I'm at too. I've always been a t-shirt and sweats kinda guy and then I'd throw on jeans when I go out, but the last year or so I've started to dress up a bit more, especially now that I have a job where I have to wear a dress shirt/shirt and tie every day.

I hear ya Fresh, I went heavy on the sweaters this holiday season. Got some nice gray, dark purple, maroon, some basic patterned tan/brown, and a few shawl collar sweaters for something different. I also like throwing a v neck sweater over a dress shirt occasionally when I'm going business casual. Sweaters have become a staple of my winter wardrobe.

Just patiently waiting for Zara to unveil their colorful blazer line for the year - want a yellow blazer, sky blue blazer and a new blue blazer.

Also, if you like velvet slippers/slip-ons like myself, then:

The sweater and dress shirt combo is typically me every Friday during winter. Then I'll just lose the sweater and roll my dress shirt sleeves up when it gets cooler out.

Just bought these yesterday from The Tie Bar. I'm kind of holding off on the shopping when it comes to clothing because I've been hitting the gym and I find that most of my dress shirts and pants are now too restrictive. I definitely need to replace a couple of pieces, but it sucks that I have to give away or put some nice items on the bench until I can use them again (which I doubt since I don't really plan on going back to my much slimmer frame).

I love these 1/4 zips from UA. The feel, the look, everything is nice.

I'm gonna guess I'm in the minority, but does anyone else like hats like fedoras, pork pie/trilbies or whatever the hell they're called, etc.?

                          Examples:

I love all types of hats pretty much, so I've been looking into these kinda things lately and was wondering if anyone has recommendations on what kinda stores to look at for this kinda stuff.

They can be pulled off and look great but it's not easy. You need to have the right look/outfit in addition to the right hat. James Spader looks absurd in that pic IMO.

You also have to have the right head/face. I, unfortunately, do not. I was never a hat or cap guy.
