This is a link to her parents' YouTube channel:
There are more videos of her singing in coffee shops and what not and she is just as terrible in those.
These parents need to be beaten.Comment

Re: Hows this for a national anthem
Pretty bad, but not Carl Lewis bad. I'm always looking for an excuse to post some classic Charley Steiner:

Re: Hows this for a national anthem
BTW the US anthem isn't the only one to get butchered. Take a gander at this:

Re: Hows this for a national anthem
I agree 100% sir, this isn't a song that you "make your own" this is our country's anthem it should be done with respect. That is why our military always does such a great job with it and is hard for anyone to top.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

It's better, but it's still horrible.
I know we're supposed to be nice about it because it's a kid, but screw that. Kids gotta learn the right way. This is life. She sucks. It's not hateful and mean. It's reality.
I watched the whole thing anticipating whether the crowd would applaud. They did. But I think they were mostly glad it was over."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I still get the feeling Miss Black was trying to have a good time. This 11-year-old girl really thinks she's gonna be Adele."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Hows this for a national anthem
I'm torn. On the one hand,it's an adorable 11-year-old girl really trying her best, in front of a larger audience than I've ever attempted at that age.
On the other, she really is horrible.Comment
