This is a link to her parents' YouTube channel:

There are more videos of her singing in coffee shops and what not and she is just as terrible in those.

These parents need to be beaten.

Pretty bad, but not Carl Lewis bad. I'm always looking for an excuse to post some classic Charley Steiner:

I was going to mention that but held off.

BTW the US anthem isn't the only one to get butchered. Take a gander at this:

Yeah....that was pretty painful to listen to.

Kinda cruel to say but, I do hope she stays in school and gets a great education.

I agree 100% sir, this isn't a song that you "make your own" this is our country's anthem it should be done with respect. That is why our military always does such a great job with it and is hard for anyone to top.

I remember I was in band during boot camp and our director was telling us how most people don't even play/sing it the right way. It was interesting to listen to as its a very unusual and hard song.

She tried proving she can sing it.

It's better, but it's still horrible.

I know we're supposed to be nice about it because it's a kid, but screw that. Kids gotta learn the right way. This is life. She sucks. It's not hateful and mean. It's reality.

I watched the whole thing anticipating whether the crowd would applaud. They did. But I think they were mostly glad it was over.

I still get the feeling Miss Black was trying to have a good time. This 11-year-old girl really thinks she's gonna be Adele.

The only one that made the anthem their own and did it with respect IMO was Marvin Gaye.

I'm torn. On the one hand,it's an adorable 11-year-old girl really trying her best, in front of a larger audience than I've ever attempted at that age.

On the other, she really is horrible.
