    Re: Receiving Free Games????

Something just seems too good to be true here. And you know what they say about that. But it sounds like you're probably covered with your emails, so **** it. Enjoy the free games!

BTW, I hear this XCOM game is good. So if you have an extra copy...

What started the whole thing was about 2 months ago I contacted this guy about getting 2K early. As it got closer to release he emailed me to inform me that he would not get it early and at that point he informed me that i would have 2k coming my way and to do whatever i wanted to. I emailed him back and asked him if it was a mistake and he said no that i could have them for free and then he added that Borederlands 2 would also be coming a week apart. Then in a later email he tells me Xcom is coming as well which I had totally forgot about. Now remember i told him that i didn't even want Bdld2

So how in the hell could i possibly be at fault??.

        Send me the extra copies
I wish someone sent me copies of games
That is certainly weird though, especially if you have emailed him and he said it wasn't a mistake...

I agree Mo, but this is the thing. If it is stolen merchandise then why GIVE it away. That defeats the entire purpose of making pure profits.

So it makes little sense to just give away free games.

At this point, you yourself suspect something isnt right, maybe you suspect these products are stolen, maybe not, but by not reporting this to the proper authorities, you could be at fault, hell maybe even an accessory to a crime.

Simple, to not get caught with the stolen merchandise.

This is the thing, you have been GIFTED a item. I could GIFT a item from amazon to my dad, my mom, hell you Mo. Does not mean it is stolen and if it was it would not put you in "cahoots" with me.

That is the thing, that $100 bucks I received could of been stolen but it was GIVEN to me. Why would I report that with zero evidence of something funny?

So I understand your "idea" behind it. I just think it voids you of any connection when you receive from amazon a "gift". If you look at the picture it is plain as day, "Amazon gift from xxxxxx". That in itself just says "Thank you xxxxxx" lol

Hell this guy could of sent him extra copies as a "my bad" for not shipping it out early

I don't believe he could get in much trouble for unknowingly receiving stolen property. It would be extremely hard to prove a case against him. The worst thing I think would happen is the games get taken away.

How could it possibly be stolen if it came from Amazon?

That is a good point, I don't understand this also.

It wouldn't be all that hard to make it appear like something came from Amazon when it really didn't.
