I'm not big on surprise bugs flying at my face, I usually react and scream before I realize what's going on. It was embarrassing this past week when I screamed a little higher pitch than I'd prefer as a bug flew at me in a car lol My fiancee and her mom made fun of me for a few days lol

My fiancee is very afraid of flying on airplanes. She gets all anxious and it's not too fun flying with her if it's bumpy, but we get through it. I'm just happy she'll actually fly, cause driving everywhere isn't possible.

I was also looking for Phobia's incoming post when I saw this thread lol

I'm really embarrassed to admit this, but I am afraid of dogs. It's awful because I'm a grown man who panics when there's a dog not on a leash. I have a mild allergy to them, but it doesn't affect me unless I touch them/get really close. What started it is that I was attacked while waiting for my school bus in elementary school, twice.

I know that dogs are awesome, and that most are harmless, but I always get flash backs. It sucks.

My friend can't fly- he gets too freaked out. He drives from TX to New York once a year to visit his family on Christmas. They fly down here for everything else.

Probably extreme heights. I'm good with flying and being in high buildings, but the thought of being on a ledge or even watching that guy jump from 128,000 ft made me woozy.

I was also freaking out at the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai. They have the see through floor about 1000 ft up. For some reason it was hard for me to walk on it.

I would say extreme heights, but I have been able to go high up and look out over things. I would have to draw the line with glass elevators and platforms, though.

My only true phobia is choking and not just me choking but anyone around me. I'm paranoid seeing little kids eat by me, terrified when I see someone feeding a 1 year old cut up chicken nuggets and just generally scared of me/anyone choking.

My cousin is like that. He lives in Lubbock, and his two 2-week vacations per year are spent driving to Minnesota and Michigan to visit family.

I do not have any debilitating phobias. I got a little weak-kneed looking over the edge of the Hoover Dam, but didn't have any trouble at all going out in the glass boxes at the top of the Sears Tower (or whatever it's called now).

As for flying, I actually enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm the same way with heights...I can do them fine sometimes, but others can make me a little shaky at the edge.

No true horrible phobias, just would prefer to control myself a bit more when bugs are on/coming at me lol

Yeah, I think everyone gets that. I had a big *** wasp hit my arm and flip into my car while driving this summer. Then it posted up right behind me on the window randomly flying around. I thought I was going into the ditch.

Meh, still trying to figure out how I'm going to live without either of my parents. I feel like everything I do is contingent upon having that feeling of them watching over my shoulder or being proud of me, and it just wouldn't feel right without them. Yeah, I fear death in general.

                              And then, of course... spiders.
