Oh I misread this originally. I thought you said "why did they want you to go to Fresno".

I don't want to go because

a) I'm sure that since it's just me going I want be able to use the company plane, so I will have to fly commercial. I don't really care for traveling for business honestly, especially if I'm coming back during the weekend

b) I'm a bit of a "home body" so I would prefer to stay home

c) the guys out there that I liked out there have transferred to Dallas. Everyone else is married with kids and who wants to hang out with a bunch of married people?

Although, I'm sure that if I would have went I would have made the best of it by bringing out "California Jeremy".

Oklahoma is full of toll roads. I have family in Texas, and 90% of the interstate through there has a toll. One of the reasons why Oklahoma is the worst state I've ever been to.

The ones I was on up through Tulsa to Kansas were reasonably priced at least. I don't mind tolls if I only spend a couple bucks on a couple hundred miles. It's when I'm paying many dollars to cross a single point that I find it excessive.

However, the big complaint I have is that they had unmanned toll booths. We didn't have any change for one so we just sat there for a bit and thought it over, and then gunned it and was like "f this". Never got any sort of notice in the mail, and we'll take a car with a different plate if we ever encounter that situation again.

As far an Pennsylvania goes, there have been several proposals over the past decade or so to implement tolls on I-80 to help raise money, but they never got anywhere.

Y'all make plenty of money off I76 I'm sure. I avoid that thing like the plague. No reason why I should be paying $25-$30 to drive a couple hundred miles when I go back to Ohio from here.

I dont know of any road tolls in NYC (or at least in Brooklyn) like the NJ or FL turnpikes but the bridge and tunnel tolls here are outrageous.

But there are always ways to avoid tolls, they just may be time and gas consuming.

What the toll would have been for me last month had I not taken 80 and 322.

Your E-Z Pass Toll Amount is $21.31

• Class-1 Toll: $17.25

And that's only 245 miles of it. You can go around 100 miles further to the Philadelphia area. You pay $5.25 without EZ Pass just to get onto the road to begin with. If that's not highway robbery, I don't know what is.
