It beats the hell out of carrying 50 things in my hands when I leave the house. When you're like me and leave the house at 8 every morning and don't get home until 9pm or later most nights, you need a lot of ****.

Is National Bully Month a real thing, or just a school thing? How long has this been around?

We have to do stuff in class for this event. My class has watched "I now pronounce you chuck and larry" and now we're playing the game "Bully".

I love how 50% of our customers first payment default and we repossess their vehicle. You get the vehicle back and they are filthy, a ridiculous amount of miles put on them, change oil light is on, cigarette butts, ashes, and burns are everywhere, kids made a mess in the back seat with food, and it looks like someone forcefully broke in through the door and the key won't work.

That's the type of **** our customers do to vehicles. People don't appreciate anything they own or are paying for it seems.

I'm sure we'll get a call later about it too. There's a line in the contract that states clearly "You must make the first payment on the vehicle or face repossession". We even tell them to call us and talk to us if something happens and they can't pay. At least then we can speak on their behalf to the finance department in Phoenix.

Lol seriously. New Orleans Jazz just doesn't sound good. I know about the jazz culture in New Orleans and Louisiana in general, but come on. Louisiana Jazz would sound better than New Orleans Jazz.

Now, that being said, why would we change our name? It's the same organization. Sure, the Hornets moved to New Orleans and eventually changed their name, but that doesn't mean we have to. Utah Jazz sounds good, even if it doesn't make sense. The Los Angeles Lakers technically doesn't make much sense, either.

I've been on a repo before with my grandfather. Being in a smaller town and the only dealership they tend to repo on their own.

It wasn't dramatic at all. I was kind of disappointed. Just pulled the hauler up to the car and the owner watched us pull away.

Is it bad that I have to carry a backpack with me to work every day ?

Between clothes, food, and other things like phone chargers and contact solution I just don't have enough hands or room in my vehicle.

It's better if I just carry a backpack.

I used a backpack for work in my 20's....carried a lot of **** to work.

Then I got a cool briefcase that is made by C&C/Fender guitars, so it's a briefcase that looks like a guitar case. Used that for 10 years while I was a speaker technician, and I was writing songs at the time so was carting around a notebook and micro-recorder.

Now I don't carry **** around anymore except my keys, wallet and smartphone so I don't use that stuff anymore.

So, unfortunately I have to keep Comcast with the move to the new house. We thought there was going to be an option for Lumos Fiber TV and Internet service. My brother and his boyfriend have it where they live (20 miles up the interstate in JMU-ville) and rave about the TV service. The format/guide does look a lot cleaner and the DVR appears to be pretty damn legit with massive space for shows.

I have my girlfriend call Comcast because I want to see what the "new customer" deals would be. After being given lackluster deals she explains the situation to the rep (I have Comcast, but she was calling to see what it would be under her name since she's a "new customer) to which he laughed at her and told her that movers are given the same deals as new customers. [This still makes no sense to me and I'm not sure why I would have even assumed that to be the case in the first place]

After that she calls Lumos and talks to one of their reps. He confirms service availability and starts quoting packages with specs and price lists. He also confirms a combined $100 credit towards the first month. Only installation cost would have been wiring, but with the credits it would have been a normal bill from them. The only hang-up was we needed permission from the landlord first since its a rental.

Once we meet with the landlord and explain to them its the same as wiring cable they give us the 'OK.' Monday rolls around and my girlfriend calls back to set everything up. They go through their little order, but then when they confirm the address the guy suddenly realizes that they do not in fact offer service in our area. Talk about not only a waste of time, but getting my hopes up that I could finally shed Comcast for a better option.

With that I initiate a "movers" order on Comcast and end up talking to a rep online to confirm the order. The new customer deals? I'll save $10 for the first 6 months and then it will cost me $10 more a month for the next 6 - both of those are over my current plan. So, not really deal and I tell the rep to stick with what I have. But of course that deal is running out next month. So I have to sign up for the 6 months ****. I do not understand why you have to go through a ritual every 6-12 months in order to pay the same price for the same ****ty service.

I think everyone hates their cable service. Cox Cable drives me nuts. Not only does it cost us way more than I should be paying (she "needed" the newest and most expensive package they offer.) but it's buggy as hell.

Shows not recording, internet randomly dropping, cable boxes freezing. I can't tell you the last time I've gone a week without an issue because of Cox Cable's service.

I had Verizon a few years back when I lived alone. Price wise it was a little cheaper, but the service still had its issues. Verizon isn't even an option where I live now. Which isn't even that far from where I was before. But that's a whole other issue.

The lack of options containing to cable service is a real gear grinder. Customer really gets screwed in the end in my opinion.

The only TV service we have ever had that gave us no problems was Charter + their internet speeds are very hard to beat.

Comcast is awful for me in my apartment

The free basic cable in the living room doesn't get FX at night, like around 5-6pm it just stops working. Certain local HD channels in my bedroom don't work which is annoying when one of the sole purposes I pay the extra $10 for HD channels is to watch football on CBS/Fox. I've told them this plenty of times over the past year and they keep saying they are going to do something about it and don't.

AHHH I hate bureaucratic screw ups.

So I get GST (Goods and Sales Tax) and HST/Trillium benefits in the mail every month/couple months. So my monies suddenly stopped coming in June so I did some calling around....Turns out the people I file my tax returns with didn't even send it to Revenue Canada!

Oh well, i'll be getting my benefits in a lump sum in December so that's nice.

Screw those "triple play" bundles. Seriously.

Out of curiosity I asked the rep if there was a package that included HD and DVR for free (Lumos actually includes HD free). Its included with the triple play. Nope, sorry.
