I'm totally with you on that one. While I love my actual apartment, I HATE the neighbors above me who moved in last month.

They're white trash. If they're home(which is 90% of the day by my guess), they're making noise. They stomp and run around constantly with their siberian husky that I've often contemplated stealing. They drop what I can only guess are palletes of bricks throughout the evening. They smoke cigarettes and toss the butts occasionally into the lawn which is really starting to piss me off. Our complex backs into a state park, QUIT ****ING LITTERING. And finally, they smoke pot and the smell fills my bathroom and bedroom. I have no beef with someone getting high, but dammit do it outside so you don't leave my apartment smelling like wet moth balls.

Most of the neighbors are okay. The majority of the pet owners are terrible human beings, though. I've just got to a point where I want to enjoy a 12 hour session of GTA without having car lights shining through my front windows, dogs barking, and people yelling at their pets.

I've never had a front facing apartment except for one in Tennessee. It was bad because headlights came right into my bedroom and the constant light from streetlights all night long. Never again.

Pet owners at my place are good for the most part. You never hear them barking and they keep them in check.

Let's dig into the personal affairs of Chase. Spoiler in case someone doesn't care about it. Regards to my future career, financial situation, etc.

I called my credit union to speak with them about my loan that I have.

A little backstory: I've cleared every single piece of debt I have except for a $1250 loan and one more month on my gym membership.

My only other current expenses are Netflix and my Cell Phone. I transferred the information for Netflix over to my parents bank account so they can continue to pay for it and use it when I'm gone and they are going to cover my Cell Phone for a few months until I have the free time to get my own account next year.

So anyways.. I called the credit union and explained the situation and how I wouldn't be able to call or mail any of my payments (I pay $271/month to pay it back faster). The lady said she wanted to talk to her manager and call me back about it. They offered to deffer my payments until March of next year without adding any additional interest. So it basically suspends my loan and payments until then so I don't have to worry about it.

That's huge for me. So now I've got my debt out of the way, I'm where I need to be physically, and I've got at least 3/4 of the NAVY start guide memorized before I even get to basic. This will also help in the future because if I decide to change my rating one day, I'll be okay getting a higher security clearance because a lack of debt and dependents.

My mind is really at ease right now. I cleared several thousand dollars in debt in just a matter of 5 months to get where I'm at now. I'll be honest, I've made some bad financial decisions for myself at a young age. It's been a grind and struggle, but I've managed to get myself back to where I want to be with minimal debt and a steady income. This will all allow me to save and invest in my own future... good times.

There's an apartment adjacent from mine that has a small hound-dog or dotson or something along that line. They'll leave it home for the day and let it do its deep bark all day long at anything that moves and they leave the windows open so everybody can hear it.

Countless others (ie more on than not) will walk their dog without leashes much less without picking up their pet's **** from the grass that is "technically" park of my property.

The other night we were coming back to the apartment. Girlfriend is driving. We turn into the entrance and I see a young, female resident getting her mail. My girlfriend has stopped her Jeep. There's a shin-dog running around the vehicle. No leash. The girl doesn't even attempt to move she just calls her dog. And keeps calling. So, we audibly mumble things about leash laws and flattening things to each other and proceed. Still, the girl never moved and just kept calling for the dog. Fortunately, (unfortunately?) we didn't hit any animals.

Some dude that lives on my road had a dog that lays in a ditch that's also in a curve. Damn dog will jump out in front of a vehicle without thinking. Its been doing it for a long time and I'm surprised no one has hit it yet. I almost wrecked a motorcycle because of it one time.
