One of our anchors here in Lubbock spent the past couple months working on a JFK piece for the 50th anniversary. I didn't get to watch it last night or this morning, but I finally caught it. It's simply amazing. He is actually submitting it to try and win an Emmy, and I believe he has a shot. Some of you might have seen it, as every station owned by the company ran it. But for those of you that haven't, I'll provide this.

Some jobs I'm thinking of applying for but...

It says things like "____are a plus". None of those things I have any experience/knowledge in.


So wondering if people think it's worth even applying for if I don't meet a number of qualifications(because of the whole "____ are a plus" type of qualifications). I still meet about half of the qualifications though, and it's an internship(I believe paid one too) so it shouldn't be that strict should it?

Just apply. There's no penalty for applying, aside from not getting an interview. You're more likely to get one if you apply.

yeah I have been filling out applications out the rear with me transferring to a bigger university and not playing ball next semester need to find something
