When I was 16 I found this drive thru in my town that didn't ID for tobacco products, but only me and a few friends knew they didn't ID. So I used to buy other kids a 4 or 5 dollar pack of cigarettes and make them pay me like 7 bucks a pack. Or I would buy a 2 or 3 dollar can of dip and make them pay me 5 bucks for it. Needless to say, I never worked in high school and was able to pay for my own alcohol/tobacco habits thanks to those kids.

My freshman year roommate, who I lost touch with at the end of freshman year just randomly hit me up to tell me he has moved to Brooklyn (from Manhattan).

After hearing the neighborhood he moved to, I fear for his life. He's just too green for that world lol.

Our Office Assistant at work talks wayyyy too fast.

She just asked me to file something for her while I was going to the other room and I had to ask her three times where to put the folder before she finally slowed down enough for me to understand her.

I don't even ask her to slow down anymore. I just keep asking her the same question until she catches on..

LOL, I remember either my junior or senior year of college we were out on the first weekend of the year, carrying around a backpack full of beer. Some freshmen came up to one of my friends asking if they could buy beer off us. After negotiations they paid $20 for 3 freaking keystone lights.

Is she from the Northeast? Anytime I go away from NJ for anything people tell me I talk way too fast. When I was in DC in college for a year I had to repeat myself so many times.

I have a problem with talking too fast too. I think it's part of the anxiety thing as my mind is always racing and my mouth tries to keep up, usually unsuccessfully

My sister used to talk way to fast. Sometimes she'd be out somewhere and would call home but nobody would be there and she'd leave a message and my mom or I would have to replay it like 5 times to understand what she was saying.

I have a problem with talking too fast too. I think it's part of the anxiety thing as my mind is always racing and my mouth tries to keep up, usually unsuccessfully

quick question for NHL 13 guys, I feel stupid and can't figure out how to release a player in Be A GM mode in season. I'm in the first month of the season and want to release Doug Janik from the Wings and sign Kent Huskins but I can't figure out how. Help

I don't think you can outright release players in the NHL. I was trying to figure out to do so in 12 and there just doesn't seem to be a way.

You can't.

Assuming he has a 1-way contract, you have to send him down to the minors and hope another team claims him on waivers.

He's already in the minors lol, I thought about bringing him up, and then exposing him to waivers, but he's only a 72 ovr so no one's gonna claim him. Then I thought about making a 2 for 1 trade just to free up a spot to sign Huskins, but I realized I'm putting too much thought into this and should get back to just playing the game.

Sucks I can't just outright release a guy, oh well
