A Las Vegas woman is suing Match.com for $10 million, after the online dating service allegedly paired her with a man who stabbed her 10 times in the face and chest in an attempt to kill her.

Mary Kay Beckman, 50, claims in a lawsuit filed earlier this month that she joined the website looking for a "healthy loving relationship," but instead was nearly killed.

Beckman says she went on a few dates in October 2011 with Wade Ridley, but after ending the relationship came home one day to find him in her garage with a knife.

Ridley "brutally stabbed [Beckman] 10 times with a knife about her head, face and upper body, until the overwhelming force he applied to the stabbing caused the knife to break," according to court documents.

According to her lawsuit, Ridley then "stomped and kicked" her in the head until she "stopped making the gurgling noise" and left her for dead.

I can't see how it is the website's fault. Not like these websites can read people minds.

That is just the risk you take meeting a random period. If she wins, people will start suing bars, clubs and every where else they met a person at that turned out to be crazy. Dating is high risk, high reward. There is no magic bullet to weed out crazies. A person just have to take their chances.

The last.fm app ****ing blows. It's complete garbage. I'm honesty not sure because it's so useless, but I'd venture to say no.

Download iScrob. Its just like the iPhones default music player, except it scrobbles your plays. It does crash occasionally, and somehow mixes up song titles and what's actually playing, but it's worth the real-time play tracking, IMO.

Using it as we speak.

EDIT: Well it appears there is a new/updated app for last.fm entitled Scrobbler for iOS. Haven't used yet, I'll have to check it out sometime.

Just stick to the regular roast beef sandwiches. It's just beef and a bun. You don't need anything else.

When I was in college this was a staple of my diet. My roommate and I would would take back beer cans, use the refund at Arby's for the 5 for 5 deal, take them home and add cheese. We either split the 5th sandwich down the middle or gambled for it.
