Finally got around to making my arena a cool place to hang out, Coming up on a thousand posts, so I felt like it was a good time. Now excuse me, as I'm gonna go smoke and drink a beer in my arena, and admire it's glory. Louisville, Indiana, and Duke fans you are not welcome. or Digger Phelps.

I won't be able to make it anyway. My friend Robert Morris will be there though. He'll be there by 2.

Anybody else watch Girls on HBO?

I literally just started the series yesterday.

Got 3 episodes in. Liked it a lot. Thought the pilot was a bit meh, but the next two episodes were awesome.

I literally just started the series yesterday.

Got 3 episodes in. Liked it a lot. Thought the pilot was a bit meh, but the next two episodes were awesome.

When you reach the season 2 finale let me know. Nobody I know has watched it yet and I want to rant lol.

I thought season 1 was great. Season 2, while not as a strong, was still good.

So Good News/Bad News today for me and the TV:

Good News: I got myself a Rogers box for my bedroom so I don't have to run downstairs to watch programming on NFL-N or other specialty channels and I can watch a couple out of market NFL games during the season via a couple other channels.

Bad News: Since i'm the last to get a box and we already have 3 boxes i'm stuck with a regular box so no HD "sniffles" Oh well you win some, you lose some.


At least I can try watching The Sopranos from the beginning with HBO Canada On Demand.

When you reach the season 2 finale let me know. Nobody I know has watched it yet and I want to rant lol.

I thought season 1 was great. Season 2, while not as a strong, was still good.

I thought season two was hit or miss. Some episodes nailed it while others missed the mark. Still enjoyable though.

I expect season 3 to be a bit darker. Shoshanna was the only one who ended the season in a good place.

Yeah, definitely hit and miss. I grew to really dislike most everybody I liked in the first season. Even Adam gave me the willies all season. Ray is about the only one I was legitimately rooting for in the last episode. I'm glad he and Shosh split.

I did not like the reconciliation couple stuff, though. Especially Adam running to Hannah - it just seemed cliche and fake to me when compared to the rest of the show.

I think season 3 can go either way. I think one of the couples will work out while the other will go through troubles. I'd rather Adam stay with the normal girl because that's what he needs. WTF does he do? I never see or hear about him working lol

HD is awesome, but I really don't have a problem watching standard. I guess because I'm poor and I can't afford that taste. Haha
