My girlfriend's birthday is on Friday and I don't know what to buy her, I was planning to get her a tortoise (since she always wanted to have one) but those are illegal in our country so now I'm back to the drawing board. What complicates the things more is that I have little money to spend since I don't have a job limiting my options. Why buying presents to women is so complicated?Comment

It's really not. You should know what she likes.
My girlfriend's birthday was a couple weeks ago. I got her :
Black and pink gym shoes. She loves gym shoes. She loves Pink. She does not have a pair of black and pink shoes.
And
A necklace/pendant. I got her ear rings for Christmas and the necklace and pendant match the ear rings.
I know you said you don't have a lot of money, I'm sure she understands that. Get what you can and just remember what she likes.

7:40 AM: Wake up. Turn on coffee maker. Watch NFL AM until coffee is ready and drink coffee.
9:00 AM -4:00PM: Hung out with my girlfriend at her house.
4:00-4:30: Go on a run
4:30-7:00: NCAA 14 Time, uploading/editing videos for Youtube
