My first 2 years of HS we had summer assignments, which were followed by an exam, and actually counted on our report cards the first marking period.

By my junior year they stopped doing that as the whole school failed those assignments. Nobody bothered with that ****.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted here.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I want to pre order GTA 5 from Best Buy to get the $20 credit, but I don't know which console to get it on. I'm trading one of them in to put towards the PS4 but I can't decide which one. I'm thinking keep the XBox because of Skyrim, but then I have so many PS3 games that I haven't played yet, plus free internet and its blu ray so no dealing with multiple game copies. I could always just buy skyrim for PS3, but then I'd have to start all over again and that would suck.

So, which one should I keep and then buy GTA 5 on?

I had summer reading for AP English back in high school. In some ways I kind of miss it because I never read any more. But it was such a pain. You had to keep a journal on the books, but you never really knew how much or what you really had to write. And then there were exams over them the first week back.

I have summer assignments for damn near every class. AP Government and Politics, US History, Spanish, Advanced Physics, Calculus, and of course English.

Still not doing any of them until the day before school starts, but still really annoying.

Why would you wait until the day before to do assignments for 6 classes? Why not just do one subject a week, and done.

Well since more than half of the assignments are reading, I can sparknote that. Other than that I have 2 5 paragraph essays, one research project, and I just have to do like 50 problems of percalculus. Really not unreasonable to do in one day.

It's really not. You should know what she likes.

My girlfriend's birthday was a couple weeks ago. I got her :

Black and pink gym shoes. She loves gym shoes. She loves Pink. She does not have a pair of black and pink shoes.

And

A necklace/pendant. I got her ear rings for Christmas and the necklace and pendant match the ear rings.

I know you said you don't have a lot of money, I'm sure she understands that. Get what you can and just remember what she likes.

Maybe I exaggerated with my last sentence but it still isn't the same as buying stuff for guys, I know that my dad wants shirts for his birthday, videogames for my brothers and sport stuff for my friends. I don't like the idea of buying clothes, for instance, for women because they are more picky with what they want; I have an idea what colours and type of clothes my girlfriend likes but that doesn't mean I'd be 100% sure with what I could buy and I don't want her to get a gift she's not satisfied with. I could invite her for dinner and buy her roses but then she's already invited me for dinner before just because, she's reserved (and paid) a hotel room in a nice city for a weekend just because and she's bought some (small but still matters) gifts for me just because. That, the reason I mentioned before and my lack of money makes deciding a birthday present for her difficult.

Oh, we'll be taking an exam on the summer assignment as soon as school starts. Plus, for AP history, I have to read two books and be prepared to write an essay on the books when school starts.

Alright man, take notes.

Can you get into her place? Family member that trust you let you in? Spare key? If so, get in when you know she's not there and lay flowers around or even rose petals themselves. It's cheesy as hell, I know. Hide the gifts around her place with the flowers leading to them.

As far as what to get , grow a pair man. Don't be afraid of getting the wrong thing. Smack yourself and pretend it's me. Have confidence. And as I said pay attention to her. My best friend and I picked out an outfit for his girlfriend that she loved. Complete with silly accessories and everything. Watch color, style, fitting, and arrangement. Also get help from whatever chic is working the floor. Women's clothes are cheap enough that you can put together an outfit for cheap.

You said she likes turtles or something? Get her stuff dealing with turtles. Shirts, magnets, figurine things. If her favorite color is one of the Ninja turtles, get her one of those for a nice little chuckle.

Favorite movies? Music? Make her a slow CD telling her these are the songs that remind you of her. Go buy a lavender candle and lavender bubble bath. Chics love lavender for whatever reason. Then get legit massage oil. Have her take the bath, give her the massage, have the CD going and finish the night.

After this, any more advice will cost you.
