I wish ours was like that. Our classes were 42 minutes and gym consisted of:

5 minutes changing into gym uniform
5 minutes taking attendance
15 minutes of him talking about how important the sport we were playing was and how good he was at it
10-15 minutes actually participating
5 minutes changing back into regular clothes

This is how it was early on but once youre a junior class the guy cut slack. He knew nobody wanted to do the ****. What pissed me off was the gym teacher was the Bball coach and let his guys sit out or take a "free period". The football players got no such bonus. Our coach was the dean of discipline... so we managed to get out of demerits and detentions often.

Anyone wash one of the new Nike NFL Jerseys? They hold up good? I'm about to wash mine I remember in past with Reebok one it faded out somewhat quickly.

I've washed mine a few times with no issues. The old reebok replicas were crap quality

You forgot the over exaggerated 10 minutes of stretching after taking attendance.

the funniest part of High School gym classes in my opinion were the Prima-donna girls who would actually Fail Gym class because they never changed, and always sat out for fear that they would get too sweaty, and ruin their Hair, make-up, nails. LOL.

I got a C in gym class in high school because the teacher was a gigantic **** that didn't like me. I was, far and away, the most athletic kid in class and aced all the tests we took at the end of each sport unit.

My parents laughed at me for weeks.

Yeah, we had ours broken into units for each sport/game we learned. We had tests on the rules and such.

Pretty much. I had "magnet weight training" my freshman year and wasn't allowed to take a gym class because I played sports.

Interesting, in my School district playing a Sport for the school didn't excuse you from taking Physical Ed/Health as they were split up in the same semester and mandatory.

Most of the Athletes usually just took it really slow, half arsed it in gym class anyway except for 1 dude who was like the Gym Class Hero, had to try super hard 100% in everything. He scored like 5 goals in Soccer, went for Triple doubles in Basketball, and did like 34 pull-ups on the Pull-up test and got mad at himself because he couldn't squeeze out that 35th.
