Re: Off Topic 2013
I graduated high school in 2008 and Gym (or "P.E") was mandatory. My freshman year of high school whenever I was in Florida, it was also mandatory.
I had no problem with it, and most didn't. At least in my classes they didn't, but most of us were athletes.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

I think it's weird no matter what level of school it is, up to high school.

Not only did she openly tweet the pictures for everyone to see, but also had inappropriate conversations with students on there, referring to male students as jail bate.
She's a special kind of stupid. Some people need to leave social media alone. Clearly cannot handle it.

PE was mandatory for us in high school. I always liked it, but I was always one of those "PE All-Star" types, mostly because I refuse not to try when I do anything. I have a tendency to go all out no matter what.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Re: Off Topic 2013
Coed Volleyball was the best time of the year in High School (well.. really anything coed was awesome with those tight.. short.. spandex shorts). Most of the football and soccer players took it so seriously, the girls would get scared and just kind of stand there.
If they couldn't hit the ball back over the net, someone was jumping in front of them or coming over their back to hit the ball before it got to them.
We use to get in trouble all the time because of that stuff.
I think more people got injured in Coed Volleyball then all of the sports in high school combined. It was that serious.--

Re: Off Topic 2013
PE was fine in high school except when we had to do stupid **** like archery, orienteering, ballroom dancing, and self defense.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
My PE consisted of the following:
Swimming for 4 weeks
Basketball for the rest of the school year. Unless we had a female PE teacher. Then they made us do volley ball half the school year.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
We did all of those except for self-defense. I really enjoy archery, which is odd because I'm not normally a huge fan of hunting and that sort of thing. And orienteering wasn't so bad. We used to do dancing right around prom time which was pointless because no one actually used the stuff we learned at prom. We did all sort of different things in PE, my favorites were when we did pickleball (essentially large scale ping pong where you are essentially standing on the "table" aka the floor.) or when we'd play kickball in the gym and you could basically kick the ball anywhere, out in the halls, back into the weight room, up onto the stage, wherever.MLB: Minnesota Twins
