Nobody on Earth is special enough to turn a cheater into someone faithful. Too many people turn their brains off when it comes to relationships, yet they are so fantastically simple.

I'd like to give a special "**** you" shout out to Comcast for this "internet outage in my area" with no explanation.

You better know what you are getting into, JJ. A man in love will do some crazy things to the guy who gets involved with his girl. Do the proper research.


How mentally stable is he? Does he have neck tattoos? Is he physically much larger than you? Does he own a gun? Does he burn ants with magnifying glasses? Does he wear a black leather jacket all the time? Does he come from a large family? Has he ever been in prison? Does he get too into UFC? Does he shave with a straight razor? Does he laugh in the face of death? Does he wear a knife? Does he wear Affliction clothing? Do the pockets of his jeans have fancy designs or buttons? Is he shifty or skittish? Does he listen to Lil Scrappy? How much whey protein does he consume? What are the condition of his shoes? If the shoes are scuffed up he wants to fight all the time. Does he have an after market body kit with a paint job that doesn't match his vehicle? Does he keep a blue flag hanging out his backside, but only on the left side?




The answers to these questions could save your life.

Not really, if she has a boyfriend it sounds pretty simple.

Not really. It's getting harder and harder not to like the girl. We literally talk from the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep.

Put up with it for a long time, eventually get mad about it, hate yourself, become distant, slowly break off contact.

That's been my playbook.

The storybook she leaves him for you **** doesn't happen. At least not to me.

This is what I'm afraid of. That's why I don't want to bring up the fact that I'm tired of waiting around.

Well JJ it looks like you're set on taking this all the way. So my only advice at this point is to make sure you turn on your phone's recording device when you see her angry boyfriend sprinting toward you and her begging him not to do "it". And make sure, during the "it", you ask him questions very loudly like "why are you punching me?" and "what are you doing with that firearm?"

Im just looking out for your case post-the **** hitting the fan.

I did the girlfriend with a boyfriend thing once.

Luckily for me the guy was already in another state.

Also, it sounds like the same way you're describing your situation. Talking all day. Getting worked up and passionate. It doesn't end well. I don't think it ever ends well even if you do get the girl 'cause you just screwed (hopefully literally) a guy out of a girl. Sounds like you're giving her lots of attention which is what she wants right now and probably isn't getting from the same old boyfriend. If you're dead set on doing anything at all simply hit and quit it my friend.

Mind if I change the topic folks?

I plan on making 12:01 on January 1st, 2014 one of the biggest moments in the lives of my girlfriend and myself. But prior to doing that, I need to have THE phone call with her dad to get his blessing. Obviously I'd rather do it face to face but he's on the other side of the country and paying for the flight there and back during the holidays isn't feasible. Anyone have advice on the talk? I'm fairly certain he's going to give me his blessing but as far as the actual talk goes...I'm worried I won't even know what to say.
